Campus Traditions Part 5
You’ll never get bored, as I told before. You know why? If you are active and never stop diversifying, you’ll simply have no time! For example, in the spring semester at Georgia College, the Department of Campus Life has a great event named The Bobcat Awards and Recognition Show, which recognizes individuals, activities and youth organizations that contribute to campus life. Some of the students are lucky to receive leadership scholarships, acceptance into Who's Who among American College and University Students, and other awards. The Midnight Breakfast is a great and challenging event. On the night before the final of each semester, in the dining hall students are lucky to get a full breakfast served by faculty and staff. The Campus Activities Board provides the variety of entertainment so the students can switch off their daily problems. Midnight Breakfast takes place for the purpose of giving students a break before the strictness and tension of final exams. The Black Student Alliance sponsors a Recognition Night for prominent black students. AfroAmerican students are recognized for excellence in scholarship, athletics and service. Scholarships are presented to both students themselves and their organizations.
