Healthy Hair vs. Winter Winter is coming and with it cold weather is taking hold. Cold weather brings with it problems such as dry, dull and brittle hair. Winter can damage your healthy, beautiful hair if you don’t start taking special care of it. Here are some actions that will help you prevent hair damage and maintain your appearance. You probably shampoo your hair very often. You probably think you have no choice but to shampoo every day to have attractive hair. However, due to cold weather, your hair and scalp dry out much more quickly. You don’t need to shampoo your hair every day. Try shampooing every other day and you will notice that it’s easier to manage and style your hair during the winter. We advise you to not overuse your hairdryer; dry, damage hair may occur with too much use. To ensure your hair is safe, try using a cool setting on hairdryers. Of course, it will require a greater time commitment for you to blow dry your hair but in return, you are actually protecting your hair. The types of products you use are also important. Of course, different hair types have different product so in order to make the right choice it is better for you to consult your hair stylist. They will advise you which product suits your hair type the best. Be careful during the winter season if you want to have healthy hair. And if coping with hair static is an issue for you during winter, there is a simple trick to solve this problem. Simply spray a small amount of hair spray on your hairbrush and after you’ve finished styling, brush your hair with the hair brush from root to tip!
