Usage of Voltage Relays
The voltage relays are used in a lot of applications. One of the earliest usage of voltage relays is in the switching exchanges of the telephone and telegraph industry. It is also the most common usage of relays. Also the automated testing equipment usually isn’t provided without these electrical devices. The voltage relays can be found in the most major appliances and electronics, including the computers. The relays are often used in a simple on/off control. The example of this is in the refrigeration system that runs a compressor. A surge of electrical current is required to initially power the compressor up when it comes on. And in order to redirect, or relay, current to the compressor’s circuit at the appropriate time the voltage relay is used. The voltage relays are used not only in analog equipment, but in logic applications too. It is especially so for the equipment that is used for testing. The voltage relay provides the capability of moving current from one point to another in the defined logical sequence.
