Young-Loaeza started her journey as an inventor during a period of homelessness after a car accident that left her unable to work, during this time Young-Loaeza gave life to her inventive ideas by creating drawings and prototypes of some of the designs that she had come out with while working as a housekeeper for more than twenty-three years.

But it wasn't until after creating a prototype that worked as expected that she decided to enter an invention competition, then she flew to New York with only $50 in her pocket, and the hope to find out if anyone will care for her invention. Young-Loaeza slept in her rental car, and the next morning she headed towards the invention event where to her disbelief won 1st place. The journey had begun, and this caused the snowball effect having more confidence that this invention had space in the consumer market.

The revolutionary NEET bed sheet, with yet a simple design consists of a flat and a fitted bed sheets that reduces the bed making time by 50% and also reduces mattress lifting by 75%. As a result, this can potentially reduce workers compensation claims, according to a study conducted by California State University San Marcos.

After 23 years as a housekeeper Young-Loaeza finally quit cleaning houses to devote her full time to her inventive ideas and determined to make her dreams happen.

Today Young-Loaeza has been granted two patents and a trademark, and most recently has filed another two patent applications for other innovative aspects on the bedsheets. Currently NEET Sheets has penetrated the hospitality market and NEET Sheets are currently use in boutique hotels in the San Diego Area.
