PGMAG: Dr. LaTarsha, welcome to today’s interview with Lady Anita.
DLH: Thank you Lady Anita for this wonderful opportunity to share with your readers.
PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
DLH: I’m Dr. LaTarsha Holden born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. I’m a mother of six grown children, I’m a life coach, 17x published author, a servant leader and an inspirational speaker. I am Ga./National Mother of the Year “2020.”
PGMAG: As a leader, what are the keys to building a sustainable business?
DLH: I believe the keys to building a sustainable business are:
Having integrity
Providing a product or service that will help humanity.
Knowing one’s Why
Discipline
Consistency
PGMAG: You have written several books which has helped in transforming lives and businesses around the world, and you have continued to inspire others to take a leap of faith in order to accomplish more in life. We salute you for being a true change maker.
DLH: Thank you. As a servant leader writing is one of the ways I utilize to uplift, empower, inspire and impart wisdom into others. My books ranges from my life story, children’s books, a parenting guide, a book on personal development, a training manual, and my newest release The First 50 Years with over a 100 plus personal quotes. I created my first comic book in “2020,” to encourage others that God is with us in our personal struggles.
PGMAG: What is your message for women who are being challenged by poverty and low self-esteem?
DLH: As a former homeless mother with six children, the first thing I had to do in order to bring my family out of poverty and homeless was to invest in my personal development. I had to learn how to become disciplined in order to tackle my goals and to fight through my poverty mindset. I want to encourage your readers that they truly possess the Power within to Rewrite their story. You are worth everything God has for you. You are destined for greatness. Keep going and believe that the sun will come out tomorrow if you don’t give up.
PGMAG: Please tell us more about your recently launched initiative where you support single homeless parents.
DLH: I recently launched a non-profit organization Four Seasons Single Parent Program, Inc to go back and aid other single parents along their journey. I will personally provide three scholarships a year to a homeless single parent who is enrolled in college or a trade school.
PGMAG: If you knew what you know now, what would you do differently?
DLH: The first thing I would do is develop a healthy self-love and identity for myself. I just celebrated my 50th birthday and I realized everything hinges on how a person view themselves. I would have invested in myself mentally, emotionally and physically when I was younger... Everything starts with self-love.
PGMAG: What is your message for world leaders?
DLH: As a Servant Leader, my message to world leaders is to lead from a place of compassion, love, fairness and just to the people under your leadership. Leadership comes with great responsibility and one day you will have to give an account on how you treated those under your leadership. You will be remembered by how you treated the less fortunate, those that are in despair and in poverty, not by your material possessions. So, Lead Well and Leave a Legacy that you would be proud of.
PGMAG: Finally, what would you say to your younger self?
DLH:
PGMAG: Thank you for sharing your brilliance with us through this interview. We wish you continues success as you travel in life.
DLH: Peace and blessings to you. Thank you for this beautiful opportunity to share as I continue on my life’s journey.
PGMAG: Please share your website/links with us.
