LAYERING GUIDE WHY LAYERING? Proper layering is one of the most fundamental concepts in outdoor recreation. The beauty of this simple concept is that it allows you to make quick adjustments based on your activity level and changes in the weather. Motorfist layering products are designed and constructed to allow each rider to customize their personal comfort zone.

1. BASE LAYER

More than any other layer, the base layer helps regulate your body temperature by moving perspiration away from your skin. It should be made out of moisture wicking fabric that’s breathable. Essential layer in all types of weather and environments.

2. MID LAYER

The insulating layer helps you retain heat by trapping air close to your body. Insulators should be lightweight, breathable, and insulate even when wet. They should wick moisture quickly away from your body. Mid layers should be selected depending on weight, weather, and type of riding.

Motorfist’s Lifetime Plus No Wait Warranty: Covers all eVent jackets, bibs, and pants against failure in materials and/or workmanship for the normal lifespan of the product.

Bags: OGIO guarantees its entire *non-golf line of products for the **lifetime of the product (original sales receipt required). This warranty covers the product for the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship only. If the product ever fails due to a manufacturing or material defect, then OGIO will replace with like product at their discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, improper use, or the natural break down of colors and materials over time. What does our Lifetime Plus No Wait Warranty mean? All gear eventually shows signs of normal wear and tear. The lifetime warranty applies to the lifetime of the product and NOT the lifetime of the customer. The intensity that the product is used will determine the lifetime of the product. If the product looks and feels worn out or starts fading and thinning, then it is. There comes a time when a product simply needs to be replaced, as it has been worn out to its full potential. Lifetime Plus No Wait Warranty Exclusions (voids all warranty coverage): • • • • • • • • • •

Normal Wear and Tear Leaking issues if the gear was not properly washed (please see washing guidelines here: https://motorfist.com/care-instructions) Burns, abrasions Damage caused by an Accident Negligence Improper care/washing Modification, alterations Rips Natural break down of colors/materials over time Use other than the product’s intended purpose.

Please Note: Boots and bibs are not intended to be used for Snowbike use. If a product fails due to defect in material or workmanship we will repair or replace the product without charge, at our discretion. We reserve the right to require proof of purchase for claims. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a nominal rate and shipping, at our discretion. Motorfist, or its agent(s), may provide a loaner product while warranty claims are processed. If a replacement garment is issued the replacement is void of warranty with the exception of manufacturer defects and will be approved at Motorfist’s discretion. Loaner Agreement: If requested, we may provide you with a loaner jacket, pant, or bib at our discretion while processing your claim (that’s the “Plus” part). Backed by the Lifetime* Warranty Plus, you’ll never miss that perfect Bluebird snowmobile day. A deposit of half the price of the garment is required at the time the request for loaner gear is made via credit card. Failure to return the garment back will result in being charged the full price for the item. Loaner agreements can only be qualified within the warranty agreement listed above. Anything that falls within the warranty exclusions will not qualify for a loaner. General Warranty: Motorfist warrants every product that we make to be free of material, manufacturer, or workmanship defects of the product. If the products fail due to a manufacturing defect, Motorfist will repair the product without charge, or replace the product at our discretion. Warranty is non-transferable. Every warranty claim requires proof of purchase. Non-eVent Outerwear: Non-eVent outerwear is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Rips, tears, or worn-out gear is not covered under this warranty. Motorfist general warranty terms apply. Boots: All Motorfist boots are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Boots are not intended to be used for Snowbike use, aggressive running boards will increase the wear and tear. Motorfist general warranty terms apply. Goggles: Motorfist goggles are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Argo Avalanche Airbag Backpack: Mechanical aspects of your Argo Pack are covered under a three-year manufacturer warranty valid from the date of the retail purchase on the workmanship and components of the product. Motorfist will cover all repairs and outbound shipping for your pack at our discretion. Standard wear and tear of damage caused by extreme or inappropriate use will not be covered under warranty. Wash: All garments must be properly washed and dried before being sent in. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee (and extended repair times) or your garment sent back. (Estimated cleaning fee $50 depending on the product). Please follow the care instructions on the inside tag. Care instructions are also available on our website. https://motorfist.com/care-instructions - If washing and care instructions have been misused, warranty will be voided. Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping to Motorfist in the event of a warranty claim. Motorfist will pay the costs to ship the item back to the customer. Motorfist assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our warranty department. Please be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. Once the warranty is complete, our team will alert you with a tracking number, so you are able to track your package. If you have specific instructions on how the package needs to be shipped please ensure to alert our team prior to sending back your warranty claim. Processing Time: For cases covered by warranty, the normal processing time is 1-3 weeks for US warranty claims and 3-5 weeks for CA warranty claims. During our peak seasons, the processing time might be longer. If the product is a non-warranty repair (customer paid repair), the normal processing time is 3-5 weeks for US warranty claims and 5-7 weeks for CA warranty claims. Pricing varies - after your product is assessed, we will contact you with a quote and request that you approve the charges. The normal processing time goes into effect once we have your approval. Keep in mind if your product needs to be cleaned after arriving at the repair facility it may add an additional 6 days to your warranty timeframe. Repair/Replace: Motorfist has the right to decide whether a repair or a replacement is necessary based on the defect that the product has. If the item is deemed beyond repair, Motorfist will issue a replacement of the same or similar item at our discretion.
