The Guest Fund at the Ma sonic Homes next year will need:
• $ 300,000 to create and eq uip facilities for 23 additional hospital bed s.
• $90,000 for Guest s' spending money. Each Guest at the Masonic Homes is given $10.00 a month to use as he or she des ires . This money provides small p leasures not necessarily provided by the Homes.
• $60,000 for recrea tion and occupational therapy programs, including in s tructors and materials to help Gue sts occupy their time with creative projects and entertainment, such as leather and metal crafts, painting, jewelry, pottery crafts and recreati o n such as movies and special bus trips.
• $55,000 for holiday gifts and activities, such as Christmas presents and Christmas programs , Easter treats, other holiday activities and holiday dances.
• $30,000 to maintain barber and beauty shops, including these services at the ho spital.
• $25,000 to Patton Ma so nic School to conduct athle tic programs, dances, school activities and to give special assistance to students.
• $40,000 to operate the Ma sonic Homes' special bus, to operate the Deike auditorium, the Masonic Temple, the Recreation Room beneath the Deike Audi-
torium, and for sp ecia l programs fo r Guests using the above facilities.
• $ 10,000 for Religious Services, to co mpen sa te visiting mini sters who conduct year-round re ligiou s se rvices, such as Sunda y service in the Sell Chapel, weekly pra ye r meetings , visits with those con fin ed to the hospital and burial serv ices
• $20,000 for Guests' persona l needs, such as h ea ring aids, glasses and dentures.
• $5,000 for vacation camps for boys and girls at the Masonic Homes.
• $50,000 for various capital expenditures, such as a new 16-passenger bus, air-conditioning for library, bedside lamp s, various o utdoor canop ies, draperies for many of the Guest buildings and an addit io n to the greenhouse.
It would not be possible to li s t all the expe nditures provi ded by the Guest Fund, but the need also includes:
• Additional transportation for Guests.
• Movi e projector for the hospital.
• Paintings and pictures for Guest Rooms.
• Gymna sium equipment for boy s' and girls' home.
• Special chairs for specific hospital Guests.
