We are expanding the availability of smart home technology and access to on-campus information and services through our online portal. This provides residents with convenience and ease of access to a variety of features. Our staff can update you on the latest options.

Living in the heart of Pennsylvania (near Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Lebanon and Hershey) puts you at the center of it all. Easy access to the Amtrak train station near the main entrance of the campus makes traveling and commuting for work easy. Harrisburg International Airport is less than 15 miles from Masonic Village.
Located just across the street, the Masonic Conference Center offers a state-of-the-art multimedia center, chapel, outdoor sports fields, tennis and pickleball courts and a large indoor swimming pool, which can be used for aquatic classes, swim lessons and recreational swimming year-round.

Meet with friends in the Freemasons Cultural Center to enjoy a concert or movie, pick up a paintbrush or grab a cup of coffee. The center comprises ballrooms, an auditorium, wellness center, multipurpose room, Masonic Lodge, museum displays, art studio/gallery, recreation areas, coffee shop and visitors center.
A one-stop shop, the Buchanan Clubhouse features a restaurant and café, assembly room, branch bank, market, mail room, hair salon, creative arts room, library and lounge.
The centrally located Grand Lodge Hall encompasses a majestic restaurant and café, outdoor terrace for dining and entertainment, tavern, assembly room, lounges, salon and spa, post office, recreation centers, art studio, billiards, multimedia lifelong learning center, library and gift shop.

Choose from a variety of retirement living rental and entrance fee plans. Residences range from charming apartments with modern updates to new cottages and townhomes.
Floor plans vary from studio apartments to one-bedroom apartments to two-bedroom cottages with a den and basement (see a sampling of floor plans on pages 13-17). All drawings are approximate. Ask our Sales & Marketing staff for floor plans of each option available.

SEVEN THINGS TO KNOW
1. Anyone age 60 and older may apply. For couples, one person needs to be age 60 and the other at least age 55. Depending on the preferred residence, Masonic Village has a priority wait list for those planning a future move (see right folder flap). Anyone age 55 and older may sign up for the priority wait list. For additional requirements, please contact the Sales & Marketing Office.
2. Moves average approximately three months, and Masonic Village has various resources to assist you.
3. We know your pets are part of your family, so you may bring up to two into your new home. We’ll provide specific guidelines based on your preferred residence.
4. Masonic Village has a designated parking area for your RV/motor home or boat at no additional charge, so you can keep adventuring.
5. A shuttle service is available for transportation throughout the campus.
6. Masonic Village may provide support to qualifying individuals who may no longer be able to afford their services, at some point in the future, for reasons beyond their control. Our staff can provide specific guidelines to those who meet the requirements.
7. All residents receive preferred access to the Masonic Health Care Center on a fee-for-service basis, depending on specific medical condition(s).
APARTMENTS
Apartments within the Village Green area, as well as the Brown, Village, Louis Eisenlohr, Charles Eisenlohr, Smith North and Smith South buildings, offer the right amount of space for a variety of budgets.
There are rental and entrance fee options.
Each residence varies in size and includes wall-to-wall carpeting, sheer curtains, emergency call system, smoke detector and individually-controlled thermostats. Every building provides washers and dryers.

AT-HOME CARE
Home Health Services offer a range of services if you need care following an injury, illness or posthospitalization recovery, in your home. Accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program, our services may include skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapy; medical social work; the assistance of a home health aide; disease and pain management; blood sugar and blood pressure monitoring; and more. Our staff will help you determine if your insurance covers home health services.
Home Care Services are non-medical and focus on assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, household services, errands, medication reminders, transportation, health care coordination and other individualized services in the comfort of your home. They are available whether you need some assistance after an injury or illness, before or after a move, or need a companion while your spouse runs errands. Our program is a Pennsylvania Licensed Home Care Agency. These services are paid privately.
HOSPICE SERVICES
Hospice has a special way of caring for patients with a limited life expectancy in the comfort of their homes or in our special end-of-life care area, Evergreen. Accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program, our services focus on the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones. Staff promote comfort and self-determination, enabling patients and their families to participate in making decisions about their end-of-life care. Services include:

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. The Masonic Village Pharmacy is located in the Sycamore Square Marketplace at the front of the campus and provides delivery services. Lancaster General Health Physicians Family Medicine, also located in the Sycamore Square Marketplace, includes physician and nurse practitioner services.
TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT FOR SHORT-TERM REHABILITATION
Professional staff, state-of-the-art therapy equipment and comfortable accommodations will help you on your road to recovery. Our goal is to return you to your home, on- or off-campus, as soon as possible. Short-term rehabilitation can help you recover from:

• Diabetes complications
• Infections
• Pain management and wound care
• Respiratory conditions
• Strokes
From the day you arrive, treatment is intensive. A team of physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapists; nurses; care managers; and social workers, under a physician’s direction, devise a personalized program based on your needs and goals.

PERSONAL CARE
With the right amount of assistance, you’re free to explore your hobbies and interests. Enjoy entertainment, gardening, creative arts, music therapy, spiritual services, wellness and lifelong learning opportunities, intergenerational programs, visiting pets and more. Shuttles transport you around campus and on monthly outings, including trips to shopping centers and restaurants. Relax in your comfortable accommodation featuring attractive furnishings and plenty of space for personal mementos. Caring and professional staff provide for your needs and enhance your life.

NURSING SERVICES
Surrounded by supportive staff, receive the assistance you need and the loving attention you deserve. Nursing, therapeutic recreation, social services, spiritual care, music therapy, housekeeping and dining services personnel grow to know you and your family. Choose from an array of events and programs each day. Maintain a garden in a raised bed, or take part in fitness classes. Explore your creativity with ceramics, or reminisce and engage with music therapy. Take a trip to a local restaurant, enjoy a visiting entertainer or attend a worship service. Visit with the birds and fish located throughout the Masonic Health Care Center, or spend time with children from the nearby child care center during intergenerational programs. Around-the-clock care offers you peace of mind so you can enjoy your life to the fullest. The Masonic Health Care Center features common recreational areas, spacious dining and kitchen areas and family rooms for residents to gather.
MEMORY SUPPORT
Those with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias receive personalized care in three residences tailored to maintain each individual’s dignity and respect within a secured environment. Staff are specially trained to provide compassionate care, and residents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of their care as long as they are able, providing a sense of purpose.
The two Lafayette residences are divided into higher and lower functioning areas so staff can target programs to meet the needs of each resident. Both include a recreation area, kitchen/dining area and family room. Outdoor courtyards enhance therapeutic recreation and sensory stimulation and inspire memories.
The Garden Path residence is designed to meet the needs of individuals in later stages of dementia. It features comfortable rooms and a large, bright common area.
EVERGREEN
Residents may receive end-of-life care in Evergreen, a dedicated area featuring specially trained staff and private rooms, which include overnight accommodations for family. Hospice services are available through Masonic Village Hospice or another approved hospice provider.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Masonic Health Care Center is Medicare- and Medicaid-approved. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. It is required that your financial resources are preserved for the cost of your care and services, and our staff will help you to identify all available financial assistance when needed.

Bleiler Caring Cottage: Up to eight adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities reside in this cottage, where support services enable them to reach their fullest potential and enjoy independence.
Congregation of Sell Chapel: This non-denominational congregation meets in the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel on campus and invites Masonic Village residents and community members to worship with them. The congregation’s outreach ministry responds to a variety of individual needs and to the community at large.
Farm Market: Find a variety of seasonal produce, including apples, peaches and cherries, and choose from products such as applesauce, preserves, soup mixes, salsa, fruit butters and more! View the catalog and store hours at MVFarmMarket.com.

Masonic Children’s Home: Up to 40 school-aged youth live in five cottages on campus, where they receive care and guidance through the generosity of Freemasonry. It is an ideal home for children from challenging socioeconomic environments that do not provide the security and support necessary for healthy growth and development. Outreach Program: Individuals and families throughout the United States can receive free information, direction, education and referrals. Home assistance, legal and financial counsel are available to those who qualify. Outreach also operates a durable medical equipment loan closet.

Join Our Retirement Living Priority Wait List
For personal care, nursing and other services, see contact information on reverse side.
Whether you’re planning a move soon or in a few years, the priority wait list application is simple to submit. The deposit is fully refundable if your plans change.
STEP 1: Please contact the Sales & Marketing Office to talk about next steps.
STEP 2: Complete the priority wait list application. It is enclosed in this packet and available to print from our website.
STEP 3: Mail the application with a check payable to Masonic Village for $1,000. The priority application deposit will be credited to your entrance fee or monthly service fee at the time you accept an accommodation. If you choose not to move to our community, the deposit is fully refundable.
STEP 4: We’ll notify you based on the date you joined our priority wait list and an accommodation you have selected on your wait list is available. This will begin the formal application process. Final qualification comes when an accommodation is accepted and you complete our formal application with supporting documentation.
