The Wellness Center is located on the ground floor (across from the bowling alley). We have state-of-the-art cardiovascular machines, new pneumatic strength training equipment and an HUR balance trainer. Staffed with trained personnel Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
National Wear Red Day Each year, the first Friday of February has been dedicated to National Wear Red Day as an awareness day for American women to understand their number one health threat: heart disease. This day encourages women to know their blood pressure and total cholesterol levels, as well as their body mass index (BMI) to better understand their health risk for heart disease. Join us in wearing RED on Friday, Feb. 4.

Enjoy this white bean chili recipe on National Chili Day
Directions:
Makes 12 Servings Ingredients 1 lb Chicken (Cooked, Diced) 1 Yellow Onion (Diced) 1 Red Pepper (Diced) 3 Clove Garlic (Minced) 2 tbsp Oil 2 tbsp Flour 2 cans White Navy Beans 16 oz can Chicken Broth 1 can Chopped Green Chilis (4 oz) 1 tsp Cumin 1 tsp Oregano 4-6 oz Half and Half 6-8 oz Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Add flour and cook another 1-2 minutes.
Sauté onions and garlic in oil; once translucent, add diced red peppers and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add chicken stock and bring to a simmer. Add diced chicken, beans, green chilis, cumin and oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until slightly thickened. Prior to serving, add some half and half and start adding cheddar cheese to melt. Use additional half and half to thin down chili as the cheese thickens. For service, top with shredded cheddar and sour cream.
