The Activities Department, together with the Masonic Village Pet Club, are sponsoring a trip to Eastland Alpaca Farm, located in Mount Joy. During your guided tour, you will learn about how they raise alpacas and explore the on-site farm store stocked with all types of wonderful items made from alpaca fiber. For spinners and knitters, the store has raw fiber, as well as roving and yarn from their alpacas. Also, check out the wide color selection of Peruvian yarns. Donations are accepted.

Enjoy one of the most beloved musicals of all time! In 1938 Austria, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. The production features a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do Re Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, “The Sound of Music,” which won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars. This production is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Chapel of Lancaster Bible College. This is a pay-what-youwill event. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Celtic Throne celebrates the mysterious origins of Irish dance and follows the millennia-long journey of a music-and-dance-loving people as they migrate from the ancient Near East to Ireland, Scotland, England and the United States. This show is infused with innovative choreography, dazzling costumes and spectacular lighting and projection. Please note: strobe lighting effects, fog and haze will be in use during this event. This show is scheduled from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m., with a 20-minute intermission. RSVP is needed by May 1. Tickets are non-refundable after May 5.

This musical spans from his childhood in Tupelo, Mississippi, to his triumphant 1968 “Comeback Special” and his ascent to be “The King.” It features over 40 Elvis hits and iconic songs, including, “All Shook Up,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Burning Love,” “Hound Dog,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Jailhouse Rock” and “Blue Suede Shoes.” Before the show, enjoy a delicious buffet. Where poodle skirts meet leather jackets, and romance is found at the drive-in and summer nights. Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace boys” and their gum snapping, hip-shaking “pink ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and the sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights,” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through songs such as “Greased Lightning,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night” and “Alone at the Drive-in-Movie.” This production is located at the Fulton in Lancaster.
