The wind of ebullience is blowing all around us in this season and has completely swept us off our feet. We can’t contain our Joy at turning ten; it is indeed a noteworthy feat worth thanking God for.

For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. -Joshua 1:8 One of the temptations of man is to feel we can take care of everything in our life all by ourselves. That is why many come up with a blue print of how they want their life to play out forgetting that they were created for a purpose. The truth is God sourced you and He alone can sustain you. He is the only one that can give you the perfect blueprint of your life. God has a plan for you and He wants to move you into those plans. Many people do not take time to hear what God’s plan is, they just take the next step using their own human plans. This shouldn’t be so, let God guide you every step of the way. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV Success to the world is power, prosperity, and prestige however to God our greatest achievement is to continously desire to be the person He has called us to be and to strive to carry out the goals He has for our lives. To accomplish this is to live a successful life.Success is only guaranteed when your plans are in line with God’s. Never put money first in life rather let Christ be the centre of your world, resources will always follow. Always be quick to ask how God wants you to go about His plans, stir up yourself in the place of prayer to know God’s plan for you.

God won’t intrude on you, you need to ask questions. Don’t do things because that is the way it is done, do it because God commands it. There is no satisfaction outside God’s will for you, and when you do things outside God they fail. God’s word is your yard stick for success not other people’s life or what they say. Don’t be swayed by what is happening in your friends’ life, you do not have the same purpose neither do you have the same prophetic calendar for life. Don’t look for success by copying someone else’s life, rather pursue God’s word and you will see the Holy Spirit move to make things happen in your life. Meditate on God’s word and act on it because in it lies your success. A whole generation of Israel wished they could enter the promise land but died wishing. Forty years of wandering yet they couldn’t enter however Joshua succeded in leading another generation in. Why did Joshua succeed where others did not? He did because he forged ahead on the basis of the promises of God. God told him: “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you” (Joshua 1:3). He held on to that word and allowed it to be His guide. He acted on God’s word and He got result by it.

staying in God’s word, praying in the spirit and obedience to what God tells you. These three are paramount in moving to the next level in life. When you stay in fellowship with God, you will always be successful. You have to understand that God wants you to be successful and that is why when you got born again He gave you eternal life which is encoded with the blessing. This means that you do not have a substandard life, so you have no excuse not to get result. The same life that Christ has that makes Him victorious is the same life you have, as He is so are we (1 John 4:17). Beloved, you can give expression to that life by spending more time with God. You can live a fruitful and successful life if you choose to make Jesus Christ the Lord or Master of your life simply by choosing to stay on God’s word and being filled by God’s Holy Spirit moment by moment. Let your life be ruled by God’s word and see yourself soar beyond limits.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN STUDENT ABOUT FCS F. C.S is a non-denominational Student Christian fellowship, represented by people of different Christian faiths and this forms the main objective of the Fellowship of Christian Students: to unite Christian students regardless of denomination or church affiliation in their common profession of faith and witness to other members of the various universities and to the people of Ternopil as well. The common faith of the Fellowship is defined by the basic truths of Christianity as revealed in Holy Scripture. We believe in the entirety of Holy Scripture and believe in the Holy Trinity as well. By the Grace of God, F.C.S. has grown from grace to grace and is having a positive impact on the lives of its members and the world at large.

OUR HISTORY

The Autumn of the Year 2007 saw a great influx of Foreign Christian students into the City of Ternopil, Ukraine. At that time there was no English speaking Church and since most of these foreign students had little knowledge of both Ukrainian and Russian languages they were unable to have a place of worship. Therefore in October 2007, specifically on Saturday the 6th, a group of Christian Students in persons of Dr Oluwaseun Bamodu , Dr Enam and Dr James Okafor met to discuss the need for a fellowship to meet the spiritual needs of foreign Christian students in Ternopil. This meeting led to the birth of the Fellowship of Christian Students and it was decided that the inaugural fellowship meeting would be held on Sunday 7th October, 2007. The inaugural fellowship meeting thus took place on Sunday 7th October, in one of the guest rooms of the Medical hostel, zhivova 5 at 10:00 am There were 23 people present on that day. This inaugural meeting stirred up interest in other Foreign Christian students and due to numerous people expressing interest in attending the fellowship, a new venue, Hotel Aligator, was used to accommodate the large numbers. Scienetific proof of the God of the Bible Every designer or creator always leaves a trademark on his or her designs and creations. One of our Lord’s signatures is the number 3. Sit back and read GOD is a trinity: Father, Son and Spirit -> 3 MAN is also a trinity: Body, Soul and Spirit -> 3 The universe exists around 3 foundations that had to come into existence at the same time. Science knows the 3 foundations: Space, Time and Matter, but they don’t know how they came into being. The Bible answers this in Genesis 1v1; In the beginning (TIME), God created the heavens (SPACE) and the earth (MATTER). Look closer and it gets more interesting. Time is past, present and future: 3. Space is height, depth and width: again 3. Matter exists in solid, liquid and gas: yet again 3. The atom which is the smallest unit of existence has 3 main components; proton, neutron and electron with 3 main properties and 3 main forces holding it together. You have 3 primary colours, 3 natural laws; the laws of physics, biology and chemistry.

As a bonus, there is protein called laminin. It is a cell adhesion molecule meaning it holds all the cells in the body together, organises them into whatever they are, and guides their functions. This is what it looks like: A perfect image of the cross on which Jesus was crucified!!! INTERVIEW WTH REV. EKIYOR SOLOMON D: Dawn interviewer R: Reverend D: Pleased to have you accept our request. R: It’s my pleasure...thank you for the opportunity. D: Please tell us about yourself sir R: I’m Solomon Ebi Ekiyor, a Priest of God and a Chemical Engineer by profession. I’m happily married to Dr. Elas, we are blessed with Tariela and Kariebi as our children. D: What brought you Ukraine and further to FCS? R: I’m here in Ukraine to study for a Masters degree. I’m also in FCS for the purpose of congregational worship, to be part of a multinational/ cultural Christian community with a vision to raise a generation of leaders that would transform the society with the gospel of Jesus Christ. D: What changes have you seen in yourself since coming here? R: It’s been a wonderful transformational experience with a kingdom family where everyone is loved, valued and celebrated. D: You’ve said that you have a mandate to preach at least once in all the nations of the world; when did you get the instructions? R: I caught that vision in the year 2006, and I began in 2010 with mission to Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, the Gambia and Liberia. By the help of God, I’ve visited 17 countries on this mission, including the USA, Israel, France, Georgia etc. 14

D: Where do you see the Fellowship of Christian Students in the next 5 to 10 years based on what you’ve observed? R: In the next ten years, I’m looking forward to a FCS with more Ukrainian students as active members, with leadership responsibility on them, an alumni base fulfilling the vision of FCS as true and worthy ambassadors, transforming various human spheres of life for God’s purpose. D: What advice do you have for the new leaders? R: Shift your paradigm, embrace change, be creative, innovative and flexible in pursuit of this vision. Be team players, avoid divisions, pray together, reach out to unbelievers, be the best in your academic pursuits... “a leader’s sin, is a leading sin”, so live a holy life. Above all, Jesus Christ should be the LORD of ALL, as you allow the Holy Spirit to always lead in everything.

D: And further on advice, what advice do you have for the church going into the new phase? And warnings if any? R: Some of the prophetic significance of this tenth year anniversary is given as follows : 1. It’s a year of thankfulness and gratitude to God. 2. It’s a season of divine order and perfection. 3. It’s a season of faithful stewardship and accountability. 4. It’s a dawn of recovery and restoration 5. It’s a season of Divine judgement and vengeance. D: Thank you so much for having us.
