The Round Meadow gymnasium construction was completed in 1968 and functions presently as an education and recreational facility in Catoctin Mountain park, Maryland.

This building was closed in a 1969 and again reopened in 1976 as a mixed use facility operated by the National Park Service and functioned mainly as a venue for local events and activities.The Gymnasium retains its signifcance as a part of this overall ccontext and opportunity and resonates with the both older and younger generation from the surrounding area.
