THE LOCATION OF THE BUS-STOP IS ORIENTED IN SUCH A MANNER WHERE THERE IS INSTITUTIONAL CAPUS ON ONE SIDE AND HOSTEL ACCOMODATION SERVICES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD AS SHOWN IN THE SECTION WHICH LEADS TO MORE FOOTFALL OCCURRENCE ON THE BUS-STOP WHITH MIXED CROSS-SECTION OF SOCIETY AND THEREBY SERVICES FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED ,VISUVALLY DISABLED AND GENDER-SENSITIVE EQUIPMENTS FOR LADIES THEREBY CREATING A SUBJUGATIVE ATMOSHPERE FOR ALL.

SECOND CATEGORY OF ARCHITECTS INCLUDES THOSE ONES WHO UNIQUELY TOTALLY CONTRAST THE SURROUNDING IT MAY SOMETIMES LEAD TO EVOLUTION OF ARCHITECTURE – (STAND-OUT) E.G.- ZAHA HADID, HAFEEZ CONTRACTOR. SINCE THE EARLY LEARNING DAYS AND WITH ITS FASCINATION BY BOTH OF THE CATEGORIES BUT THE THING IS FOR ME HISTORY HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEY EVOLUTION AND THE CULTURAL REGIONAL SPIRITUALITY ALONG WITH THE TOPPING OF FACTS AND FIGURES THAT HAVE PERPETUATED WITHIN THE YEARS- THEREBY AMONG TYPE A AND TYPE-B I TOOK A ROAD IN BETWEEN – 1. USE NATURAL/LOCAL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS PROMOTING SKILLED LABOURSHIP,MASONARY SKILLS. 2. IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGY RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES LIKE SOLAR, WIND ETC DEVOLOPS THE NATION BUT AT SAME TIME GROWS AWARENESS AMONG PUBLIC

OUTSIDE DECK VIEWING AREA/MULTIPURPOSE SPACE FOR MORNING WARMUP ACTIVITIES

During the design evolution of the restaurant that the ecological harmony of the restaurant.

The dining facilities had to be majorly separated as per the social behaviour of the end-user and also open/closed .

The special features of the restaurant includes its special layout planning as per the river side curve of the plautue.

As its landscaping design features it includes well maintained trees bedding with natural yielding fruits a part taken over by mapro company.

A river-side fresh water lake for fishing a recreational tourist activity. Walkway in trees ,campfire and silent reading zones, even these shade woods attract lot of romantic couples.

PUBLIC LIBRARY AT AKURDI JUNCTION PCMC,PUNE The design of library was a combination of conceptual and functional approach towards building. The research and examples of public libraries were either monotonous shaped brick decorated structural or too much experimentative as example library by Zaha hadid, Vincent Paulo i.e. would increase the budget factor rather mismatch the city architectural image and contradict local/traditional architecture which has evolved within a time frame. Therefore arrival at a subtle conclusive design proposal of design structure with a concept yet within the functional scope of cityscape

CAR SHOWROOM AT HINJEWADI PHASE-I PCMC PUNE

Concept evolution

THE DESIGN PROJECT HAS BEEN DERIVED BY A FORMATIVE INNOVATION IN DESIGN OF SHAPE OF A HEADLIGHTS OF VEHICLES IN A DIFFERENT CATEGORICAL DEFINITION LIKE CARS, RACE-CARS, SUV S,TRUCKS AND EVEN BIKES WHICH HAVE UNIQUE HEADLIGHT WHICH ARE DESIGNED IN A UNIQUE MANNER TO NOT ONLY LOOK AESTHETICALLY PLEASING BUT SERVE SPECIFIC FUNCTION LIKE A BIKE S HEADLIGHT ARE DESIGNED QUITE A LOT DIFFERENT THAN A SPORTS BIKE GIVING IT A LONGER RANGE SHOOT AND INCREASED BRIGHTNESS AND ABBREIVIETY. SIMILARLY IN ANY BUILDING FORM THE RATIO BETWEEN THE BEAUTY AND THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE BUILDING GO HAND IN HAND AND THEREFORE ONE CANT DESIGN SUITABLY WITHOUT KEEPING BOTH IN MIND AND SIMULTANEOUSLY .

PERSPECTIVE VIEW

THE RESEARCH AND CASE STUDIES I DID FOR CAR SHOWROOMS SHOWED BEAUTIFUL INTERIORS, CAR PRESENTATION DECKS,LIGHTING BUT THE EXTERIORS WERE AT THE END OF THE DAY CUBICLE BOXES WITH GLASS AND CONCRETE FACADES. HENCEFORTH IN ORDER TO PLAY WITH THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN ASPECTS OF THE BUILDING I PREFERRED A CONCEPTUAL FORM RATHER THAN USUAL ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION OF THE MASSES FROM HERE AND THERE.

FROM THE PERCEPTIVE OF CLIENT OR ANY PROSPECTIVE CONSUMER/BUYER FOR ME THE SHOWROOM DIDN’T ONLY SHOW BEAUTIFUL AESTHETICS BUT CREATE SIMULTANEOUS ZONES FOR ACTIVITIES DESCRIBED IN THE VIEWS AS SHOWN THAT NOT ONLY CREATES A COMPLETE EXECUTIVE CLASS ENVIRONMENT FOR THE END-USER BUT A HABITABLE PLACE FOR THE EMPLOYEES.

SPIRITUAL CENTRE NEAR PAVANA DAM ,KHOPOLI PUNE

SITE PLAN FOR THE SPIRITUAL COMPLEX

GRAND ENTRANCE

BACKYARD GARDEN SPACE

The brief was one of the most challenging briefs because of its versatile content here the challenge was not to create a beautiful spiritual centre. but a justified worship- cum interaction zone according to the requirement and need of spirituality among the local population according to the caste, creed religion and nationality The justification could surely not rely on the architectural characteristics and the site of construction located just in front of the pavana river dam inside the river flow tributary it presented a focussed yet challenging problem.

After a thorough site analysis that the geographical, socio-cultural, religional, need aspects of site . certain conclusion were subjected for the proposal of the sign the land was in undertaken care by vishva Hindu parishad and government property. the conclusion points are -: • in order to increase the footfall the spiritual complex had to be focussed with a theme but a spiritual deity . •

the complex had to 50% closed/open landscape/builtup to not only sustain a large mass but to control it and allow easy flow during various occasions, festivities or social events

the spiritual complex could also serve as a large platform for addressed to local population regarding any changes or development campaigns creating more and more awareness among population

SPIRITUAL- CENTRE-1

A SPIRITUAL COMPLEX HAS A UNIQUE SPECIALITY THAT IT CREATES A PLATFORM FOR ALL TYPE OF POPULATION IRRESPECTIVE OF ECONOMIC BACKGROUND, RELIGION, GENDER ETC AND THEREBY A PLATFORM TO REJUNUVATE THE BEILIEF IMPROVISE THE SITUATION THAT IS DAMAGING SOCIETY IN DIFFERENT WAYS. DESIGNER BUNGALOWS AT HINJEWADI HOUSING RESIDENTIAL PROJECT PCMC,PUNE THE BUNGALOW HAS BEEN DESIGNED WITH A GENESIS OF A NEW CONCEPT THAT RISES WITH THE CHANGE OF DYNAMICS OF INTERACTIVE AND ACTIVITY FOCUSSED ZONES OF RESIDENTIAL ACTIVITIES AND THEIR INTER-CONNECTIVITY WITHIN THEMSELVES. AS THE EVOLUTION OF ARCHITECTURE AND NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING HAS TAKEN PLACE THEREBY THE SPACES HAVE ROTATED AND DISLOCATED WITH THE CHANGE. THE FAMILIES GROWING MORE AND MORE NUCLEAR AND BUT AT THE SAME TIME SEPARATE SPACES (ROOMS) FOR CHILDREN WHICH OVERALL FUSES WITH THE STRUCTURE,ORIENTATION AND ALSO FORM THE OLD CONCEPT OF FRONT GARDEN OR BACKYARD DRY SPACE OR EVEN THE INTERWINDED CLOSENESS OF KITCHEN WITH DINING OR LIVING WITH GARDEN ETC. MY FOCUS ON THE DESIGN OF THE BUNGALOW WAS MORE ON THE SUSTANAIBILITY TECHNIQUES FOCUSSING ON THE NATURAL WIND FLOW AND SUNLIGHT IN THE INTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 11 AND 14 USE OF RAT TRAP BOND FOR COMPUND WALL FIGURE-1 AND 2. THE AESTHECTICS OF BUNGALOW ARE SEGEMNETED IN 2 PARTS MAINLY SOFT/TRADITIONAL ARCHITECTURE AND OTHER PART WITH BLACK AND WHITE CLASSICS THAT GIVES IT A MIXED LOOK OF TRANSPERENCY WITH A TINCTURE OF OPAQUNESS FROM FRONT SIDE

ROW HOUSES FOR INTEGRATED HOUSING IN HINJEWADI, PCMC -PUNE THE MAIN DESIGN IDEOLOGY BEHIND THE EVOLUTION OF PREMIUM ROW HOUSES WAS TO CREATE A MAXIMUM INTERACTIVE SPACES WITHIN MINIMUM AREA (PLOTAREA) …. WITH THE SITE ANALYSIS CONCLUSION AND SITUATIONAL OUTCOME OF THE DATA, INTERVIEWS OF END-USER . THE DESIGN IS NOT ONLY SURPRISINGLY BEING SECLUDED FROM THE SURROUNDING AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AREAS AND THUS IT’S A RESPONSIBILITY OF AN ARCHITECT TO RESHAPE THE SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE BALANCE AND COINHERENT STRUCTURE OF THE SOCIETY BY CREATING LIVEABLE SPACES CLOSELY ATTACHED TO ONE ANOTHER BUT SEPARATING THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND ACTIVITY FOCUSSED ZONES AT THE SAME TIME WITH UTILITATIVE SCRUTINIZATION OF THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE.

The first curtain wall was designed by German Architect Walter Gropius

(1883-1969) who was invited to teach at art school in Germany called the Bauhaus

Building House . When the Bauhaus moved

from Weimar to Dessau in 1926. Gropius constructed the new campus according to his philosophy of clean, functional, modern design. Gropius’s most important contribution was the so-called Curtain Wall , the exterior wall of glass that also displays the building’s interior design. Gropius became an influential teacher in America and a founder of what has come to be known as the International Style in architecture.

HOUSING – TOWNSHIPS ARE OUTGROWING IN THE URBAN SPRAWLS THAT UNIQUENESS OF THE RECREATIONAL SPACES EXTRAFACILITIES LIKE SAUNA,SPA,GARDENS,GAZEBO’S MAYBE EXTRA PAID PARKING BUT END-USER IS FOCUSSED ON THE SPACES THAT SUITE THEIR SOCIAL STRUCTURAL ZONE. THIS WAS A SMALL TREE HOUSE KIND OF RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE PROPOSED IN THE DEEP WOODS OF MOULU SITUATED NEAR HARIDWAR AT THE BANKS OF GANGA TRIBUTARIES FOR THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY SHOOT TEAM . SPECIFICALLY CTREATED FOR PURPOSES LIKE NATURE STUDY, FLORA AND FAUNA SPECIES RESEARCH AND EXTINCTION OF SPECIES. THE AIM OF THE DESIGN PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN IT IN SUCH A MANNER THAT IT DOESNOT ONLY CAMOUFLAUGES WITH THE ROCKS AND TREES NEAR THE RIVER OF THE BANK BUT CREATES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE CREW LIVING IN IT . THE BRIEF ALSO INCLUDED A MAJOR POINT FOCUSSING ON DEVOLOPING THE SITE IN A PROSECPTIVE MANNER POSSESING QUALITIES OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES LIKE INTERACTION ZONES, SWIIMING AND FISHING SPOTS ETC .

A SMALLEST RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE HAD TO BE PROPOSED IN THE DAUNA PAULA AREA OF GOA FOR COLLABARATIVE LIVING ASPECTS. AS FOR THE STUDENTS TOURISTS AND RESEARCHERS LIKE US SPECIFICALLY VISIT PLACES LIKE GOA FOR ITS TRADITIONAL, FRENCH, MALVAN AND PORTUGUESE ARCHITECTURE AND THEREFORE FOR TEMPORARY LIVING SCENARIOS I.E. THE RAPID CONCRETE AND STEEL CONSTRUCTION AROUND HAS CREATED BLINDNESS AMONG THE DEVOLOPERS AND THE BUILDERS ABOUT USE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. THE RESEARCH AND ANAYLSIS HAVE SHOWN THAT SITE OFFICE IS A KIND OF SMALL REFLECTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OR THE COMMERCIAL ESTATE THAT IS TO BE BUILT AND THEREFORE THE AIM WAS TO BUILT THE SITE OFFICE WITH MINIMUM USE OF CONCRETE AND SHAPE/FORM TO INTRODUCE SUSTAINAIBILITY POLICY WITHIN AND GIVE AN IMAGE TO THE END-USER/PUBLIC ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES AND ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIALS USED WITH SKILLED LABOURSHIP THAT MAKES IT EXHIBIT -A
