n Saturday, 19th March Urban Ladder played host to the iOS community, Bangalore. The community is for iOS Mobile App Developers across Bangalore and the event was attended by close to 35 members. Apurva opened the session by taking the participants through the tech philosophy of UL and provided insights into how tech, design and business can come together to create a great customer experi-
ence. We had our very own Himadri present a session on code signing and Sunil taking the participants through the Importance of Design Aesthetics in Product Development - two integral parts of the UL way. The session was witty and full of strikes and counter-strikes (not the game!) and after an extended networking session (with the India vs. Pakistan match looming), we closed the session with the feedback that this was the best meetup in the community’s brief history.”

n a neat move to place furniture in the consumer gifts space, the Gift Shop launch puts together thoughtfully curated pieces that should make gifting home furnishing items easier than ever. These are collections which are put together keeping in mind various occasions like anniversaries, house warming and the like, as well as price based categories to help make these decisions just that little bit smooth-
er. This fantastic experiment is bound to be a definite hit with our customers!

hat’s an egg-cellent way to launch new products around Easter time? With Easter Eggs, of course. The UL #EasterTeaser Contest asks our customers to take a guess at which new product range is going to be launched this Sunday. Three products from the Senchuan Outdoor Range will be revealed this way. This fun, new campaign should go a long way in user engagement, as well as increasing traffic to our website. The inflow of “eggscruciatingly” bad egg puns stops here, though. You’re welcome.
