Daylight seeps awa y s i l e n t l y, leaving blackened b r a n c h e s . Old leaves cluster like damp bats. Shadows deepen in t o i n k y p o o l s , velvet shrouds bram b l e d b u s h e s ; the milk-round mo o n l i f t s h e r s e l f to reveal ripe fulln e s s . Her light falls, picking paths of lu m i n o u s p a t c h e s . Per fect she lies on b r a c k i s h w a t e r while night sounds p i e rc e s t i l l a i r. Echoes linger from t h e ow l silently passing.
