This spirit of education will be spread throughout the entire project, both in masterplan and segmentally, which also place formal institutions such as schools and universities, as well as informally, by presenting themed parks, science & technology centers. As a way to improve the quality of KBP, the developer is developing a masterplan for the two areas that will function as centers of activity with marketing coverage to Bandung and Jakarta areas. One such area is the Town Center, as a downtown area and tourist destination, where the project site is located. This project was built to support the vision of KBP as an independent, education-based city that can support the residents' needs for recreational facilities.

Public Space
concept The initial approach to building mass composition comes from the existing contours which have a tortuous abstract shape. The shape is then analogous to a ship's sail which is then put into a building shape. The configuration of the organic mass was chosen so that it is more integrated with nature. An element of surprise is incorporated into the building by placing the main gallery beneath the rest of the building. The mass of the building is made higher to the back like a podium with the aim of providing maximum natural lighting and air. A large reflecting pond is placed on the front of the building as well as a gathering place for visitors and also a media for mind filtration, so that visitors who come are expected to have the same feeling. Besides that, another goal is to create an ambient, a calm public space, not only for activities, but also as a place to rest and socialize, like sailing serenely on a ship across the sea.

WALD Urban Infill (Hostel and Cafe) Third Year Studio / 2019 Bandung, Indonesia Supervisor: Dr. Allis Nurdini, S.T., M.T.
Wald is an urban infill project located in Bandung commercial area, Jalan Otista. Wald functioned as a hostel as well as a cafe with a concept of maximizing the intake of natural light and air into the building. The facade is made transparent but still maintains the privacy of the hostel guests inside by using an array of panels that are installed irregularly to create a variety of shadows in the room. Spatial arrangement and circulation are geometrically dynamic to make visitors feel the movement inside the building. This concept also creates a different spatial experience in each corner of the building. The addition of green accents is also done by procurement of plants in each window of the room, and also the presence of trees that are allowed to grow large in the area of the site.

Ruwo Benuo Taka means the spirit of our village in Dayak Paser language. This Phrase describes the new town square in North Penajam Paser Regency. The design of this square is based on the spirit to preserve the Dayak Paser culture in globalization era. The concept that wants to be presented is a combination of local and modern culture to create a new balance so that it can adapt to the new capital by combining urban forest concept, smart and sustainable design with a touch of local culture.

about
The Paser tribe is an ethnic group whose ancestral land is located along the southeastern island of Kalimantan/Borneo or is located in the southern part of East Kalimantan Province. Currently, the Paser ethnic group inhabits several districts/cities in East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan Provinces, namely in Paser Regency, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, and Balikpapan City. The Paser ethnic group has three basic cultures, namely the Inland Culture, the Coastal Culture and the Keraton Culture, so that it is included in the ethnic Malay culture. In fact, in the city of Balikpapan the Paser tribe can still survive from the past until now, it's just that their existence is not visible in their daily activities, because most of them no longer use Paser as their daily language. But now the Paser tribe youth from various Paser sub-tribes have begun to raise awareness to re-maintain the noble values of the ancestors of the Paser tribe, including starting to use the Paser language when meeting fellow Paser tribes. Nowadays, the population of the Paser ethnic group is estimated at 155,000.
site analysis
The town square area is located in Penajam Paser Utara District, the second youngest district in East Kalimantan. The native tribe, Dayak Paser, currently lives in remote areas due to newcomers. According to the local community, there has not been any involvement of Dayak Paser in the design process of the new capital city development. Therefore, the design presented on this town square is expected to be the answer to this issue and simultaneously spreading the culture and existence of Dayak Paser by displaying the ornaments of the tribe.

building issues
In 2021, Indonesia planned to host the prestigious motorcycle race Moto GP for the first time. This world-class motor racing event will be held on a new circuit in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone on the island of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Currently, Lombok lacks enough places for tourists to stay. Over 60,000 more hotel rooms are estimated by the government to be needed for this event. However, community members can build prefab glamping areas around remote villages using locally available materials.
site analysis This glamping site is located in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). The land is located in the cliif, especially Zone F1, called The Hill Tops. The site area is about 5 hectares which will be developed into one of the glamping sites which consists of 60 cottages and are divided into 5 groups. The site is located on hill top 40 m above sea level. The average temperature of the site is 21-32 degree Celcius and average humidity is 81%. The site is located 5 km from the Motor GP center. Other nearby attractions are King Beach, Aan Beach, Hidden Beach, and Merese Hill.

cultural concept
Tri Angga is an order in which the cultural and religious belief become the base concept in spatial arrangement with three levels of value. The Balinese expressed them as utama, madya, and nista (top, middle, and bottom). In human being, Tri Angga would be represented by the head, body, and legs.
The design was developed by involving local communities as the main focus of the project, so that it could encourage social interaction, while also providing employment that could impact local economy growth through the building process.
The “Connecting People” concept was developed by creating a wood deck that bounds up to 3 rooms together to create a small social space in between. To encourage greater interaction, a fireplace is placed among a larger cluster of the villas, which can be used as a gathering place to relax, socialize, or enjoy the panoramic view of the Mandalika Beach. Every cluster is also connected through a restaurant in the center.
utility system
Water gutters are installed on the rooftop to uphold tropical architecture concept. From the roof, the rainwater will be flowed into the gutter pipe on the perimeter with the help of the solar panel slope, which then will be collected into the rainwater storage tank. Solar Panel is also installed as a water heater and to provide bakcup electricity.
43
Natural airflow is made possible by designing ventilation at the top and bottom part of the wall to create cross ventilation effect. Energy saving is also done through skylight installation on the roof to absolve the need of artificial light during the day.
