Doubly blessed I am a Family Blessing Plan partner. I suffered from corona and chest pain. I often called the Telephone Prayer Tower for my healing. Jesus Calls prayer intercessors prayed for me with burden every time. On July 4th, at 12:25 pm , I tuned into the Family Channel. At that moment, Bro. Paul Dhinakaran was praying and he called my name saying, “Shanthi, Jesus is delivering you from every weakness. You will lead a peaceful life with your children and husband.” From that day onwards, I am completely healed. I was the only one in my family who believed in Jesus, and hence my husband used to fight with me daily for no reason. But after the prayers, there is divine peace in our family. Let us look at the promise of God for the very first month of this year. Indeed, this is going to hold true for the entire year ahead. The promise comes to you from Job 22:28. Look what this verse says, “What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.”

Yes, my beloved whatever you decide, it will be done and light will shine on your ways. How and when will what you decide be done and light shine on your ways? The answer is found in the previous verse. “You will pray to Him, and He will hear you.” (Job 22:27) Yes, when you prayerfully make your every decision, God’s favor and light will shine on your ways. “The steps of a righteous man are directed and established by the Lord.”

“David was pleased to become the king’s son-in-law.” (1 Samuel 18:26)

When you seek God’s guidance not only will God direct your paths but you will also be established firmly. PRAYER: THE PATH FINDER The Word of God describes this to us from the life of the prophet Moses, who was leading the Israelites from Egypt to Canaan, the Promised Land. “Moses said to the Lord, “Please show me now your ways. The Lord said: I shall go before thee, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:13,14) What a great God! When the Lord God goes ahead of you, the wonders that happen are marvelous and many.

JEHOSHAPHAT’S TRIUMPH

(Isaiah 45:2, 3) Not only will your paths be made straight, all the hidden treasures will become yours! KING VERSUS KING’S SON-IN-LAW Many times, you take important life decisions on your own. Especially those concerning your personal life are taken without praying to God and it ends up in futility. David took one such decision concerning his marriage without praying to God. All this happened only because David never waited in prayer before the Lord God to know the plan for his life. After all the struggles, pain, sorrow, and wandering in the wilderness, David repented and submitted to God’s decision. It was then he was led into the marvellous plan where God made him king over Israel. Let us meditate upon some people who decided to do God’s will and were blessed.

“I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight. I will give you treasures hidden in dark and secret places.”

David decided that it would be a good thing to become the king’s son-in-law because it would bring him honor, possessions, authority as compared to the life of a shepherd boy living in the wilderness unnoticed and disregarded by everybody. He thought he would become the next king easily, but alas his decision was not God’s decision. He married the king’s daughter, but she had no children. When she saw David loving the Lord more than anyone in his life, she despised him. Instead of honoring him, the king became jealous because David was becoming much more popular and loved by the people than himself. The king tried to kill him, so he could not stay in the palace. He had to live with constant fear of death, hiding in the wilderness.

“Some people came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Dead Sea. It is already in En Gedi.” Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah.” (2 Chronicles 20:2,3) King Jehoshaphat was informed a huge army was attacking him from the other side of the Dead Sea and they had almost captured En Gedi. Though Jehoshaphat was in dismay and standing

at crossroads, he decided to seek the Lord’s advice first. He did not resort to seek the advice of his counselors or his generals and so on. After receiving the Lord’s instructions, Jehoshaphat made the singers and musicians march in the frontline for the battle with his army following them. They were rejoicing and loudly singing, “The Lord is good and His mercies endure forever.” The Holy Spirit through that worship went ahead of them and destroyed their enemies completely. Yes, the enemies fought amongst themselves and ran away. Jehoshaphat just went and looted the camp of the enemies and became extremely prosperous because of the plundered goods. JOSEPH’S INTEGRITY Joseph found Mary, to whom he was betrothed, was pregnant. The Bible says in Matthew 1:19, “Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.” Since Joseph was a righteous man, God sent an Angel to him and stopped him from committing a grave mistake. Joseph submitted to God and accepted Mary to be his wife without any questions, which was beyond human comprehension but God’s decision. He helped and supported Mary to bring forth God in flesh – Jesus Christ into this world. What a great honor Joseph had! He is forever called as a righteous man.

hearing from God and walking in the ways of wisdom. “He went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him.” (Mark 3:13) Jesus withdrew from the crowd, went up on a mountain side. He prayed the whole night before making his final choice of the twelve disciples. He knew Judas would one day betray Him but chose him anyway. It must have been a very difficult decision for Jesus, but it was the very reason He had come into the world - to be betrayed and crucified to bring salvation to the entire human race. PATH OF SILENCE I said, “I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle, so long as the wicked are in (Psalm 39:1) my presence.” Here, the psalmist David took a wise decision. He decided to watch what words came out of his mouth and make sure that he would not

PERFECT EXEMPLAR The Gospel of Mark in chapter 3 describes how the Lord Jesus chose His disciples. Jesus did not select them based on His decision or their talents and exceptional qualities. commit sin against God with his tongue, thoughts, or decisions. He said he would put a muzzle over his mouth in the presence of an evil man. You should also take a decision not to utter words related to sin and not to speak against the wicked men but allow God’s judgment to come to them. When that silence prevails in your heart and you hold your peace, the Lord’s verdict will come against the wicked people and nobody will be able to convict you of any sin. When the Chief Priests, Pharisees, Sadducees and all the other religious groups were crying and shouting out to Pontius Pilate to crucify Jesus Christ and Pilate was questioning Jesus in that regard, the Bible says Jesus did not answer them. “He made no reply to him, not even to a single accusation, so that the governor marveled greatly.” (Matthew 27:14) Yes my friend, patience protects you and keeps your soul pristine and spotless. “Stand firm with patient endurance and you will find your souls’ deliverance.” (Luke 21:19) My beloved, let God speak on your behalf, speak justice over you, and pass judgment against those who have done evil against you. You just have to keep your silence. Let no sinful words come out of your mouth and no statements of defense proceed forth from your tongue. The Lord is the righteous judge (2 Timothy 4:8) and He will plead the case on your behalf. God will transform the wicked people and reveal to them that He is favourable with you. When you are silent before men and open your heart and mouth only to the Lord God, He 6

will shower divine blessings in abundance and establish your righteousness before all men. HIGHWAY OF INSIGHT Bible shows another strategy to make the perfect decisions, which is found in the following verse, “So I turned to consider wisdom and madness and folly.” (Ecclesiastes 2:12) Yes, people have already done things which are foolish and have foolish ideas; and they have also done works of wisdom. If you look at how people have prospered with wisdom or have fallen because of their foolish ideas and behavior, you will be able to correct yourself and submit to God’s plan for your life. Further, the Bible says, “Everything that happens was decided long ago. A man is only what he was created to be. It is useless to argue with God about it. This is because God is more powerful than man is.” (Ecclesiastes 6:10) This verse says everything is foreordained and foreknown so there is no point in fighting with God why He did something or trying to get something overpowering God. God is more powerful than you and me. That is why you should consider both the foolish ways and that of wisdom. The ways of wisdom may comprise of blessings as well as betrayals, similar to the life of Jesus but finally, you will rise up to be more than a conqueror. SUPERIOR AND EXCLUSIVE My friend, God has a very special plan for you, which is nothing imaginable or comparable to the plans you have made for yourself. Just see what the Lord says: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher

than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8,9) So, you never have to be frightened and uncertain because the Lord says: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” (Psalm 32:8) Pray and seek God’s instructions through the Holy Spirit, who will lead you to walk into God’s decision for your life. Through prayer, God’s glorious ways will open for you. This will make you righteous, peaceful, and joyful in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will build you up, keep

you secure, establish you powerfully, and honor you. Hence, just completely submit to God. When the will of God is fulfilled in your life, light will shine on your path and lead you to the royal throne. Prayer: Father, show me Your way. I surrender myself to You. Help me this year to be one with Your Holy Spirit and walk in the way which You have prepared for me through the sacrifice Jesus made for me on the cross at Calvary. Establish me, build me, powerfully restore me, and give me days of peace, joy in the Holy Spirit walking in righteousness. Lord, thank You for this blessing. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

My loving Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your great love and compassion that has enabled me to see this New Year. I commit this year into Your loving hands for Your plans to be fulfilled in my life. Lord, as the scripture says, crown this year with Your goodness and overflowing blessings. Lord, cover me with Your feathers for there is healing under Your wings. Keep me in robust health and let me enjoy abundant peace and security. I very much seek Your protection Father. Keep me free from every disease and save me from deadly pestilences. Be my shelter and fortress. Let Your favor surround me like a shield and safeguard me. Father, bless me with every spiritual blessing that comes from heaven. Bless the work of my hands and prosper it. I pray that You will meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory. Give me and my household the grace to serve and worship You. Help me to begin each day in Your presence to receive Your mercies which are new every morning; Give me the grace to end the day with thanksgiving. As we earnestly wait and long for Your coming, help us to be holy and become more holy to live with You for eternity. I once again thank You for this New Year and ask for Your grace and blessings to crown this year. Amen. My dear partner in the ministry, Loving greetings for a prosperous year 2022 in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! As you step into this New Year 2022, I urge you to look to the eyes of God, who is the Alpha, Omega, and holds our time in His hands. May be you had to face many challenges and the different dimensions of your life have shaken, but take heart for God promises that this year He is going to establish you according to His word in 1 Peter 5:10, “And then, after your brief suffering the God of all loving grace….will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, He will set you firmly in place and build you up.” I am truly filled with joy when I think of you and your sacrificial offerings in the midst of the waves of Covid-19, financial crisis and much more. As the Psalmist says in Psalm 16:3, ‘I say of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight,”’ may God reward you for every rupee you put into His hands for His work. God delights in you and this year, you shall receive the answers and be firmly established in the place - the Promised Land, which God has prepared for you. Corona Resistance Prayer Force (CRPF)

Prayer Academy and Training

“Pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16) A WhatsApp group consisting 288 members with the mission to pray for the healing of Corona infected people has faithfully prayed for the recovery, restoration and redemption of every person who sent their prayer requests. Prayers are continually offered even now for protection from Omicron effect.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16) • Striving toward the vision, “Every paying partner to become praying partner”, a sixweek Partners Training Program (PTP) entitled 'Connected with God’ is being given free of cost in all Prayer Towers in all major languages. • 1000s have been trained all over India; • A ten-week online course named “Knowing Jesus” with 10 video lessons full of deep insights, which I have prepared. Karunya Academy for Theological Education (KATE)

• The Karunya Education Trust in Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, India is used for treating corona patients. • The Corona safety measures - face masks and hand sanitizers were given out through the SEESHA non-profit organization. • A special wing has been established in the SEESHA hospital in Karunya Nagar, Coimbatore, India to treat those who are affected by Corona. • On July 1st, the birthday of my father Dr. D.G.S Dhinakaran, welfare support was offered through SEESHA in Chennai, Coimbatore and various other places around the world. The poor, destitute women, elderly, children, transgenders and auto drivers whose livelihood was affected due to the Corona pandemic and restraints, were given essential food ingredients, sewing machines, school kits, new dresses and certificates for those who completed tailoring training. • Mega vaccination drives were conducted in Coimbatore on 12th September and on 25th September at Chennai to vaccinate people especially from the rural areas and ensure a safer India. “He did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory.” Romans 9:23 • Karunya Academy for Theological Education was established on September 4, 2020, and has successfully completed one year of service in theological training. Despite the pandemic, KATE was able to admit 135 students (Batch 1: 44 students, Batch 2: 91 students). It has received accreditation as ‘Candidacy status’ from Asia Theological Association (ATA) Various programs such as B.Th., M. Div., Diploma courses on Counselling, Ministry, Mission, Women Leadership and Management and short term courses on important topics of the Bible like Know Your Bible and Greek language are offered. Through KATE's BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE PROGRAM, we were able to motivate 621 college students through 8 programs on career guidance. About 250 pastors received training on Trust registration and Media Ministry through the FAITHFUL SERVANTS programme. Every month, KATE was able to lead AVEQ (Half-night prayer) for Karunya Community. Along with theoretical teaching, KATE students are also involved in community service, students fellowship and Prayer Tower ministry to have field exposure. I praise God for His faithfulness in all that we do.

Esther Prayer Group

National Prayer Tower, Delhi

“Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” (1 Samuel 1:17) • The Esther Prayer Group for women, YEPG for the youth, JEPG for little girls and CEPG for the couples gather and pray in small groups. • They gathered together once in a month and prayed without fail even during the lockdown through conference calls and other technological facilities. • Overseas- Total 75 Esther Prayer Groups in 17 countries • In India, Total - 1200 Esther Prayer Groups • Every 3rd Saturday - My mother Sis. Stella Dhinakaran conducted special prayer through Zoom to specifically pray for inactive EPG in India and abroad.

Music Ministry “Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:19 • God has enabled Samuel Dhinakaran to produce a Christmas special song AVARAE (Tamil link: https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=kqy7DWwMqug) and Stella Ramola too, that touched the youth and the songs reached millions of youngsters. • God enabled us to release a heartwarming family song on Christmas, in YouTube.

“…You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” (Revelation 10:11) Prophetical prayers are offered for India 24/7. Prayer Intercessors from all around the world come voluntarily to pray and stay there. During the lockdown, 52 Prayer Intercessors from Delhi locality participated in this continuous prayer. When the lockdown restrictions were relaxed, a total of 72 Prayer Intercessors from 20 states were praying in 5 teams in the National Prayer Tower.

Zoom Prayer Ministry Hour of Hope “Making the most of every opportunity..” (Ephesians 5:16) • Every Sunday at 7 pm, my wife and I share God’s word and pray in the Zoom meeting held in different languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Day of Deliverance Prayer “….now is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians 6:2 • My wife and I conduct it every month on the last Saturday via the Family channel and other social media platforms. Prayer Intercessors pray for the prayer requests received through the Prayer Towers, Email, Facebook and other sources and God’s reply is prayerfully sent to them.

Podcasts “…..faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” (Romans 10:17) People all over the world have been blessed by my daily audio podcasts launched in the various audio platforms.

Books “if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;” (Romans 12:7) My mother, Sis. Stella Dhinakaran’s book, ‘I saw Him’ and Dr. Shilpa Dhinakaran’s book, ‘Lovely: Inside and Out’ was released in Tamil, English, Hindi and Telugu. On August 15th, 2021, the book, ‘A family life united with Christ’ authored by my mother was released in Tamil. Please pray for the book I am writing, titled 'Health for Life.'

Helping God’s chosen ones “….God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7) • It has always been a part of the Jesus Calls ministry to help Pastors and Evangelists build churches and organizations which serve the downtrodden.

Here’s a testimony to encourage you to connect with us and be blessed: I come from a background that does not tasted the love of Christ. Due to witchcraft and black magic done against us, my wife and children were going through a lot of torment. I came to know about the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Mt Roskill and attended

By the immense grace of God, we have entered into the year 2022. Hence, first of all I express my loving New Year greetings to all of you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. All of us want the Lord to be with us in this New Year and lead us in a blessed way. In which ways would the Lord give us the grace so that His leading and blessing would be in our lives? How to receive His blessings? Shall we meditate on this? Our meditation is based on Psalm 96:4 which reads as follows: “For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.” From this verse, we can understand the glory and honour of the God of gods, who is able to bless us. Yes, as we read in Colossians 1:9,10, let us commit ourselves to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him and live a fruit-yielding life! Let us thereby receive full blessings this year as well as in the coming years!

“For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!” (Isaiah 12:6) The Angel of God, while telling Mary, the mother of Jesus about the Son of God, said, "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest.” We read this in Luke 1:32. Yes, dear ones! Our Lord is great. He is able to bless us. The Bible says that our glory is great in His salvation (Psalm 21:5). How did the Lord Jesus Christ grant us this glorious salvation? Moses and the people of Israel praised the miraculous redemption of the Israelites from the slavery of Egypt by the great God and sang, “He has become my salvation; He is my God’ (Exodus 15:2). When the Lord delivered David from the hand of his enemies he greeted Him saying, ‘Let God be exalted, the Rock of my salvation!’ (2 Samuel 22:47; Psalm 18:46). He lovingly called by name Zacchaeus, who was eagerly waiting to see Jesus and went with him to his house and granted his household a new life and joy by saying, "Today salvation has come to this house” (Luke 19:9). How great is this God! Let us, who have stepped into this New Year, invite Jesus into our house, with our whole heart and mind like Zacchaeus, believing that the Lord Jesus will be great and be a blessing to us, particularly be our ‘Saviour.’

Worthy of GREAT Praise (Psalm 96:4) “Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.” (Psalm 107:21, 22) We read in the Bible, ‘in everything give thanks’ (1 Thessalonians 5:18). David, the man of God, has sung in times of tears thus, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)

Job, who said thus, praised God even at the difficult time of losing his 10 children at a single stroke, saying, ‘The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord" (Job 1:21). When he thus praised God His grace came upon him. As a result, God who blessed his latter days more than his beginning, gave him 10 children again and changed his tears of sorrow into joy (Job 42:12,13).

Dear ones, let us, who have entered into this New Year, also learn to praise the Lord at all times, in all situations, with our whole heart. A man of God, who was running a Christian Home, was taking care of a few orphan children and used to provide them free food. One morning, he had absolutely no money to buy them any food. Yet, not revealing this to those poor children, he said to them, “Children, today the Lord is going to do something great. So let us praise and thank Him with all our heart.” Thus he encouraged them to sing praises to God. As they were thus praising, a miracle happened. Suddenly they saw a van arriving at the front door. The driver of the van got down and knocked at the door. When they opened, he said to this man of God, “Sir, we were taking bread and milk to this particular place. Here are the breads and the milk…!” He said to himself, “How shall I praise the Lord for this great miracle’ and glorified the Lord, who provided food for the children, with songs of praises. Yes, dear ones, even in the midst of lacks, you should also sing and praise the Lord, whole heartedly, without giving room for worries. Then He will be great in your life, accept your sacrifice of praise, will do a miracle for you and exalt you.

Worthy of our reverence (Psalm 96:4) In Psalm 118:6, Hebrews 13:6, we read, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Dear ones, do you have this fear of fearing God?

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” (Psalm 32:8) As we read in the above Scriptures, the Lord will show His children, who trust Him and who look up to Him, the ways in which they should walk and will lead them by His hand. He thus protected him and led him till the end. As I often say, when I lost my husband and was languishing in sorrow, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and led me wonderfully by His hand. He removed all my worries and comforted and consoled me, as the God of all comfort (II Corinthians 1:3,4). Also, He anointed me with the oil of joy in an immeasurable way, in order that I would comfort others and increased my faith and boldness and has kept me as a vessel of blessing in His ministry, till today. Yes, dear ones! Let us fear the Lord in everything and be careful to walk in His ways right from the beginning of this New Year. Then, He will not forsake us but will hold our hands and lead us in blessed ways.

Greetings my beloved friend! The Lord has enabled us to see another New Year. God has a special word for you. His word holds true not only for this month but also for the entire year ahead of you. Family and home is the happy place for everyone. After working the entire day in the office, what do you look forward to? Yes, you are right! It is going back home and relaxing with your family. Every second spent with your family members is valuable and precious. God is talking through His word to make this bond strong through one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is patience, which is a symbol of unconditional and selfless love. . Every relationship calls for patience, much so in a family. Being patient with your family is not going to be easy, but it definitely is worth it. Yes, patience is one of the most essential virtues that bind a family in love. Let us look at God’s Word for the month. It is taken from Psalm 27:1. Here David says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” This is what we see when we look at the prayer life of David. “Evening and morning and at noon I will pray” (Psalm 55:17). He further says “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1). Therefore, David boldly says “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14). Another good example is the life of Abraham from Genesis 15:1-5: “The word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.” But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless?” The Lord took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars if indeed you can count them.” Then He said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Look how wonderful are the words that come from the mouth of the Lord. TESTIMONY OF MIRACLE AT THE PRAYER TOWER DEAFNESS HEALED My sister was born without a fully developed ear and she was completely deaf in one ear. I called the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in London. The Prayer Intercessor there prayed for me and invited me to join the Evening Blessing Meeting. I came to the Evening Healing and Blessing Meeting and asked the prayer intercessor to pray for my sister as she was supposed to go for an ear surgery that week. The God given ‘divine promise’ for this New Year is contained in the above verse! We also read in the Bible, "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off …for He who promised is faithful" (Acts 2:39; Hebrews 10:23). God, our Shepherd “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) The Lord Jesus, our good Shepherd says, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep; I know My sheep, and am known by My own” (John 10:11,14). Corona Clear

I had a growth on my head some time back. The growth started to increase over a short time and it became obvious. I was getting concerned about it and my family members also noticed the growth and were deeply concerned. I heard the word of God through the prayers of the prayer intercessor. I began to attend the Evening Blessing Meeting and glory to God as the growth stopped and also started fading away. I praise God for His healing touch upon me.

My entire family was in anxiety because my uncle and aunt were hospitalized due to being corona positive. It was a complicated situation, and doctors suggested CT scan of the lungs for both of them. I requested prayers through Corona Resistance Prayer Fellowship (CRPF) link on the Jesus Calls website. God heard the prayers and the scan images showed that the infection did not touch their lungs. It was a great relief. Doctors were surprised and discharged them within 5 days. They are back home and recovering. Cancer ruled out My mother Mrs. Magdline DSA had cysts since 5 to 6 yrs. Meanwhile, she was found to have two blocks in her heart on angiogram. After a year in 2020, the doctor suspected that she had cancer. He also said the cancer might have spread 90 percent and even if she went through surgery and chemotherapy, she would not recover. Yes, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever; and His promises are Yes, and in Him Amen. The scripture from 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 is for you: “With this in mind, we constantly

pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” If you carefully read the verses again, you can see how special you are. These very clearly imply that there is a special calling of God on your life. Purely God’s grace and power will accomplish it. Your desire and good deeds will work together to make you worthy of your calling. Do you know what happens next my friend? Through your life, God will be glorified and you in God. This is exactly what I have prayed for you. Roadmap to God’s Plan: The Bible puts forth many real-life examples of persons who were chosen by God, fulfilled their calling and brought glory to God’s Holy name. We shall look at the life of one the disciples of Jesus. It is about one of the first disciples of Jesus, none other than Simon Peter.

Peter was an ordinary fisherman, but God’s calling on his life is evident right from the first moment. Look at how Jesus beckons Peter to follow Him: He (Jesus) saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:18-19) Though Peter was a fisherman, the divine calling on his life was to be an apostle. Peter was very eager and enthusiastic to fulfill his calling in a worldly manner. Peter was very zealous to protect Jesus, thinking that it was his calling. Knowing that Jesus was going to suffer and die, he wanted to make a tent on the mountain and make Jesus stay there itself. When the soldiers came to arrest Jesus, Peter cut the ear of a soldier. Peter who was so , denied Jesus thrice. Look again at the promise word, it says “By His power He may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness.” Mark these words “By His power.” Are you wondering what power this is? It is the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts of the Apostles Chapter 2 elaborates this transformation. On the day of Pentecost, all the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. After he was anointed, Peter stood up and testified about Jesus. It touched the hearts of all those who heard it and they asked him what they should do. Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. This is the power of the Holy Spirit! Transformed to Accomplish: There is a famous quote which says “Well begun is half done.” Therefore, begin this year Jesus Calls International

by asking God to fill you with His Holy Spirit. You will be transformed just like Peter was. It is the Holy Spirit who will reveal God’s plan for your life, lead you into it, and also empower you to fulfill your calling. The ultimate goal of this entire transformation is “The name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in Him.” Acts 5 says many signs and wonders were done by Peter. People carried out the sick into the streets and laid them that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them, and they were all healed. This is only one of many miracles and you cannot even imagine how much God would have been glorified through the life of Peter. Therefore the key to your calling is only in the Holy Spirit. Life of Excellence: My friend, God has called you for a very special purpose. He has not only called you, if you introspect yourself you will also discover the gifts He has bestowed in your life to accomplish it. The Holy Spirit assists in revealing it to you. Unless the Holy Spirit brings to light your gifts and calling, you will walk astray from God’s plan and end in tears. He will guide you perfectly. May God make you worthy of His calling and may all your deeds and desires fulfill God’s plan in your life. My friend let God be glorified through your life and God glorified in you. Gear up for a life of excellence! Prayer: Lord, I thank You for the promise You have given me this year. Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may know my calling and become worthy of it. SORROW TURNED INTO JOY We are associated with the Jesus Calls ministry for quite a long time. My children are Young Partners. In 2005, my husband went to be with the Lord. Yet, it was God who comforted us through the Jesus Calls ministries. We were looking for a suitable alliance for my son John Solomon. Hence, we registered his profile in the True Friend Matrimony in April 2021. We were praying for God to bring the girl to us. God heard our prayers and a suitable family approached us seeking my son in marriage. Everything was according to God’s will and my son’s marriage with Alice Lydia who is also a True Friend Matrimony partner took place on August 25th, 2021. God has graciously blessed us.
