YOUTH & TEEN

Great cooks seem to operate on intuition. Watch one at work and you might think he or she must have a sixth sense that switches on in the kitchen. But great cooks aren’t psychic. They simply understand the fundamental principles of cooking. This class brings you into the test kitchen with fun and unique experiments to show you the science at work. The experiments demonstrate why adding fat to your eggs will make the perfect tender omelet, why grinding your own meat will make the ultimate burger, and why you should have patience before carving your roast. So sign up for this class and your Junior Chef is sure to not only be a food genius after, but know how to cook like a pro!

GROUP PIANO CLASSES

Age 6-9 with Svetlana Tuchinsky, B.M., MA Education & 15+ yrs experience Learning to play the piano is FUN! We believe that piano lessons should be enjoyable and productive, not dull and isolated. By putting our students into small groups at the beginning levels, we give them a chance to share learning experience with others. This creates a built-in support team of friends and stimulates children to practice. Students are grouped according to their age and ability. Activities include music-oriented games, EZ music theory, and ear-training. Classes are progressive. Each student has access to a piano or keyboard in class, however, a piano or keyboard is needed to practice at home. We hold a recital at the end of the session.
