Alex Telfer is an award-winning photographer who has worked with some of the world’s leading brands. We were tasked with creating a new high end brand identity that complemented the quality of his work. The project included designing and developing a new website, as well as a new portfolio design and carry case. We also designed a limited edition monograph featuring personal work, and a range of branded stationery. Putting Alex’s work at the forefront, we focused on emphasising the understated quality of his photography. We created a bespoke logotype and designed a minimal visual style for the brand, framing the images, allowing his photography to take centre stage.

Currently on the Y Combinator accelerator programme in San Francisco, Moltin is an API set to revolutionise eCommerce. We were commissioned by Moltin in the initial stages of launching their API to create a brand and website that would fit their innovative service. We created a unique animated visual identity developed using 3D software. While setting them apart their new brand also allowed Moltin stand up against the established platforms who had previously dominated eCommerce. A key focus of the project was creating their powerful brand culture 'Spreading APIness'. While being the focus of their internal communications it is also transferred to their public persona through online and offline collateral.
Working in partnership with Green Cotton, one of the first manufacturers of organic cotton, The White T-Shirt Co is an ethical clothing company. Having ceased trading in 2010, they came to us needing a fresh brand identity and new website to relaunch their business. By creating a strong brand identity, we helped The White T-Shirt Co tell their story in a more engaging way. We placed their brand beliefs and eco credentials at the centre, allowing their ethical approach to become an inherent part of their brand persona. And to refresh the brand identity for the current market, we created a deliberately unbranded, minimalistic visual style that opened them up to a broader target market.

With something of a cult following, Fat Hippo are a group of popular North East burger joints. Having worked with us on their initial site, Fat Hippo came back to Precept shortly after opening their underground restaurant. The brief, to create a brand architecture for their family of restaurants, and to design and develop a new website. To create the identity system, we developed a consistent visual style across the Fat Hippo group, while allowing each restaurant to have it's own unique persona. The next step was combining these brands into one intuitive and cohesive website for the group. Creating a fully responsive website with a visual style that let's the restaurants atmosphere and food speak for itself.

As a provider of virtual data rooms and secure financial documents, Imprima are a market leader in their field. As a global brand, their identity had become tired and inconsistent. Having provided marketing support for sometime Precept were commissioned to rebrand the 125 year old company. Redefining their brand positioning, we developed Imprima’s brand purpose, giving them a stronger proposition, mission and values. We also refreshed their visual style, designing a cleaner and more modern identity, which complemented their innovative software. We worked closely with Imprima to strengthen their messaging and ensure their communication was clear and consistent, equipping them with a set of detailed guidelines for the brands implementation.

HMRC 'Growth Vouchers'
A grant of £1,400 is available towards projects valued up to £3,500, which is repaid at the end of the project. You can use the grant for almost any support that will help your business to grow - from strategy, branding and web design to marketing support. The paperwork is easy too.
Currently funding up to 40% of project costs for companies aiming to improve their business through investing in business growth. Eligible projects include market research, brand and marketing strategy, branding and website design & development.
This government programme helps small businesses get strategic business advice on marketing, attracting and keeping customers and making the most of digital technology. Offering £2,000 vouchers covering up to half of the project cost. The vouchers cover most aspects of our offering.
