MANHATTAN’S RISENY OFFERS IMMERSIVE GALLERIES AND THEME PARK-WORTHY EXPERIENCE TO STUDENTS

Located blocks from Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, RiseNY is a new innovative museum attraction offering students and educators a literal elevated experience. This threepart cultural adventure full of history includes a documentary film, self-guided galleries, and an unprecedented visceral soaring attraction to kick off your New York City tour.

Youth groups start with a City Hall-themed immersive film by award-winning documentarian Ric Burns detailing the history of New York City and Times Square. Once the movie is over, groups are set free to discover the second part of their experience through the immersive gallery exhibits.

RiseNY has seven museumstyle galleries for students and teachers to explore at leisure, each specializing in an important NYC attribute. Each gallery has a map of the city pinpointing sites that are featured in the space to assist in the next part of your NYC tour.

When you begin your adventure at RiseNY, take notes of the places featured throughout. Use the museum as a jumping-off point to learn about sites of interest to your educational group before heading out into the Big Apple.

Students and educators are encouraged to explore the selfguided galleries after the short film. There’s a lot of information, historical artifacts, photographs and stories to discover that could take a couple of hours to admire.
