Shawnee Park Sports Complex
Firestone Stadium
With 121,000 square feet to play with, the state of the art Cape Girardeau SportsPlex is a tournament planner’s dream with its uniquely utilitarian concept. Two FIFA-approved indoor turf courses with 32,000 square feet of availability can be used for baseball and softball tournaments, complete with spectator seating, drop down curtains and several scoreboards.
The Shawnee Park Sports Complex serves as one of the largest youth and adult outdoor sports venues in the region. Eight fields for baseball and softball make this a key destination for tournaments. Two regulation sized baseball fields with 375-foot center field fences and six regulation-size softball fields with 300 foot fences made this an easy choice to host tournaments.
Firestone Stadium works hard to cement itself as a premier venue on the sports scene. The venue was owned by the Firestone Tire Company until 1988 but was later gifted to the City of Akron. The 4,576-seat stadium began a $1.5 million renovation in June 2015 that will improve softball facilities and add a new concession area, two-story team clubhouse, picnic area and training facilities.

Janesville Youth Sports Complex
American Family Field
The Rock Sports Complex
The Janesville Youth Sports Complex is a fantastic place to help foster a love for athletics in kids and adolescents from an early age. The complex is spread out over roughly 90 acres of land with baseball and softball fields aplenty making it a great space for tournaments and sporting events. In collaboration with local organizations such as the YMCA, such events are held all the time and youth from the area are encouraged to participate.
Home to Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers, American Family Field is considered one of the best ballparks in the MLB. This retractable roof ballpark opened in 2001 and sits on 265 acres. Featuring North America’s only fan-shaped convertible roof which can open and close in less than 10 minutes, American Family Field also sports large panes of glass which allow natural grass to grow.
The Rock is a sports and entertainment facility that attracts over 125,000 visitors a year. This destination features attractions for all seasons including six major league baseball replica fields, Snowpark and the Umbrella Bar. Activities at The Rock range from weekly live music and food trucks to regional baseball tournaments and local league games. Experience the vibrant, positive community setting that makes The Rock a valued presence in Franklin.
