Trying to put the “why” of this event into words was honestly challenging. Friday Night Fiesta wasn’t broken. In fact, the 2022 sale was the best one we had in the 10 years since Jason Spence & I started the event. However, I felt a calling or need to do more for the industry. Megan regularly says “you are something!” and maybe she’s right. My lack of contentment has been both a blessing and a curse in my professional career because good enough has never been good enough for me. The fact is, the show goat business is changing in multiple facets. Reproductive technology, genetic advancements, virtual marketing avenues, and nutrition: all driven by raw competition!

HEALTH:

Every female in consideration is considered to be in healthy, sound and proper body condition. The animals offered through this sale have been fed and cared for as if they were in production at the representing consignors herd. All vaccine and herd health questions should be directed to the individual consignor. All announcements Mande on sale day or any marketing channel supersede print material. All females offered which have not previously been in production are guaranteed to be fertile. Sell her has 12 months to prove fertility in the event a buyer can not obtain a pregnancy. Pregnancy’s are guaranteed to be bred and passed over to the advertised sired prior to transportation. Buyers, Consignors, The Symposium Group and Mock Livestock Sales understand the risks associated with transporting and commingling livestock. Neither The Symposium Group or Mock Livestock Sales make guarantees of fertility if animals receive hormone stimulation.

LOGISTICS:

Arranging pick or or delivery is the buyers responsibility. Purchases must be picked up within 10 days of the close of the auction. Seller reserves the right and Buyer agrees to a $100 fee and $20 for each additional day unless prior arrangements are made with the seller. Pick up is available following completion of the auction. Delivery is generally available in most regions across the country and arrangements will be made immediately following the conclusion of the auction. Delivery fees may be charged by the breeder or hauler if necessary. Buyer must contact the breeder to make delivery arrangements. Embryo packages are to consist of Grand One or Grade Two embryos which have been processed by a reputable source or embryologist.
