Supporting Associations

Dear Delegate,

Firstly, may I take this opportunity to say thank you for supporting the inaugural Sustainable Food and Beverage Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition. This one day forum has been created to provide an annual forum to facilitate debate and dialogue between the key food and beverage manufactures, retailers, food service operators, support agencies and key technology providers who are instrumental in creasing a sustainable food and beverage business. Sustainability is no longer an optional add-on for food manufacturers and their suppliers. Climate change and shrinking resources mean a responsible approach is called for-and shareholders and customers are increasingly demanding to know what is being done to safeguard food supplies and the interests of future generations- hence, the UK food and drink sector has committed to a number of targets in areas such as carbon reduction, waste reduction, water conservation, sustainable packaging, supply chain optimization, energy efficiency etc. The challenge for the food and drink industry and others throughout the sector is to continue to achieve economic success whilst meeting these environmental targets. All of the speakers chosen for this event have a proven track record in building a sustainable food and beverage business. I hope you have an enjoyable and informative day. Regards
