STEPS TO CRAFT CUSTOM AUTOMOBILE
Laser Cutting Plating
Setting up the Design You can create your design through a software called Tinkercad. Go to the Shape Generator and use it to work on the base of your badge. The most popular shape used for this purpose is the softbox. The shapes are exported in the .SVG format, so they can be used for laser cutting. You can find the Shape Generator at the right side of your work space.
Preparing the Cut Outs The next thing that you need to do when creating custom vehicle emblems is duplicating the basic shape. Convert the copy into a hole that can be used as an opening for the base shape. Use the fonts in the Shape Generator or in the Basic Library to add text to your chrome emblems.
Laser Cutting Every single SVG file has to be dragged to the laser interface. In some cases the laser cutter can be used to etch shapes and letters which broaden the possibilities further. You only need to identify which areas should be etched or cut. Once everything is set, you can rest and let the cutter do its task.
Plating There are different plating options that you can choose from, with gold, silver, and copper being the front runners. Once you are done with the plating you can add another layer of special coating to protect it from the wear and tear caused by exposure to the ever-changing weather conditions.
