Dr. Jospeh Seiler and his wife, Rita, celebrate his 90th birthday with friends at a restaurant in Clayton called Barcelona Tapas.

Viva la birthdays By Bethany Holohan, life enrichment director The Glen at Aberdeen Heights

Aberdeen Heights assisted living residents recently traveled to Barcelona— not Barcelona, Spain, but the next best thing. They enjoyed a delicious meal at Barcelona Tapas in Clayton. This charming little café serves authentic Spanish tapas, and on Wednesday nights, the popular neighborhood establishment has live music with Spanish guitars and percussion. The restaurant provided an excellent atmosphere in which to celebrate Dr. Joseph Seiler’s 90th birthday. Following a weekend of festivities with family and friends, Dr. Seiler’s actual birthday fell on the date of our planned excursion. Along with staff members Krystal Funk and Stephanie Nobles, Aberdeen residents enjoyed delicious tapas, wine and great conversation. The evening was lovely. BIRTHDAYS, continued on page 2
