Local singer and songwriter Laren Loveless sings all requested songs. If you have a special song you have been thinking of, let Life Enrichment Director Bethany Holohan know. Most recently, Mary Alice Lynch requested, “(I’d Like to Get You on a) Slow Boat to China” sung by Rosemary Clooney and Bing Crosby on a 1958 album “Fancy Meeting You Here.” Helen Quante requested one of her favorites, “Don’t Let the Stars Get In Your Eyes.” Laren has a sincere and special way of connecting with his audience and wants to sing songs you love. Christina Heddell and Michele Malawey also have delighted us on the violin and piano, as part of “Christina and Friends.” They have created fans across The Glen with their dynamic and lively “Name That Tune” performances. Residents love calling out the names of popular and sometimes hard-toguess tunes. This has become a favorite in both Assisted Living and The Glen, where they play back-to-back performances in each location each time they perform. Like us on Facebook
