Just Ask series returns Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor is happy to announce the return of our Just Ask series. "Being able to open the doors to the community is something we have prayed for since restrictions were implemented during the pandemic,” said Sarah Griggs, executive director. “We are thrilled to now host events that provide education and support for seniors in our community." Rayna Neises shares effective communication strategies for interacting with Alzheimer’s loved ones.

We have plenty of activities in store for the rest of this year including unscrambling the mysteries of Medicare and Medicare advantage plans and learning how to downsize the right way. "We look forward to hosting each event that can bring knowledge and fun to the Manor," Sarah says.

Caregivers support group provides support for those in need Caring for a loved one who’s living with dementia can be both a rewarding and challenging experience. It can also leave caregivers feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. To help, Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor offers a caregiver support group from 6-7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month providing emotional, educational and social support for those in need. Hosted by Brandi Barrett, a social

worker, and Anna Robinson, a registered nurse, the group is designed to help caregivers build a support system with others who face similar challenges.
