While Terry Lillie is a familiar face we’ll miss at Presbyterian Manor, we’re happy to introduce a new Admissions and Marketing Director, Sharla Hopper.
“I began my career as Director of Parsons State Hospital Child Care in 2004, and 10 years prior I worked at Head Start as a family and community involvement specialist,” said Sharla. “I also teach Early Childhood courses at Labette Community College and advise students.”
Sharla has a B.S. in organizational management and leadership from Friends University and an A.S. in early childhood education from Labette Community College. She completed her Administrator in Training (A.I.T.) program at Cowley Community College in 2014 and is pursuing her Long Term Care Administrator License. She teaches courses and advises for Labette Community College's Child Care and Support Services Management program. In addition to all this, Sharla is on the Labette County Family Coalition and President of Wesley Little Learners Advisory Board. Continued on page 2

As the new Administrative Assistant, Kristi Nelson will have the opportunity to meet many residents and their families. Prior to coming to the Manor, Kristi was the Program Assistant for 16 years with the SEK Birth to Three Program.She is a graduate of Parsons High School and attended Labette Community College. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her flower gardens, camping, boating and being with family. She has 7 grandchildren and enjoys attending their activities.
