Employee & Family Yoga Basics Immersion at Prescott College Tucson Center Please join us for a series of seven yoga classes for Prescott College employees and their family members. Selena teaches within the Ashtanga tradition and focuses on the breath-movement synchronization to instill inner reflection to the mind and calm to the nervous system. Each class allows for an individual practice to flower while working within a group vinyasa flow. All levels are welcome. Employee & Family Yoga in the Work Place in Prescott The Lifelong Learning Center is offering Prescott College staff, faculty, and family members a series of seven yoga classes with Rachel Peters. This is a great class for those wanting to stretch and strengthen their entire body. The classes build on the foundations of yoga to encourage a home practice and ways of enhancing life on and off your yoga mat. Some yoga experience is recommended. The last class of the series focuses on Restorative Yoga. Instructor: Rachel Peters September 9-October 21 / Fridays / 12-1 p.m. / $40 Location: Prescott College Manzanita Chapel

Employee & Family Healthy Living Workshops The Healthy Living Workshops is a series of workshops for Prescott College employees and family members, specifically designed for people living with conditions like arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, chronic pain, or any other ongoing heath condition. Those who care for loved ones or family members with ongoing conditions are also encouraged to attend. The workshops are designed to help participants learn to self-manage and take control of the problems caused by ongoing health conditions. Basic Yoga Techniques for Maintaining Health and Wellness for Students This yoga course explores fundamental yogic asanas “postures,” as well as preliminary yogic philosophies that will enable participants to begin and/or strengthen their personal yoga practice. The range of techniques practiced in this course include pranayama or yogic breathing, light meditation, as well as physical practices that can be done lying down, in a chair, in cross legged position, or in a sequenced flow of postures. Restorative Yoga: The Path to Reducing Stress and Increasing Vitality The holidays can be a stressful time of year, so it’s important to carve out time to rejuvenate. When you take care of yourself you build the capacity to be more present and patient with others in your life. Join Rachel Peters for this 1.5 hour Restorative Yoga Class between Thanksgiving and Christmas and give yourself the gift of relaxation and stress reduction. This class will integrate techniques to relax the body, quiet the mind, and open the heart. It’s not to be missed!
