Few family-owned companies can say they have been in business for over a century, but Gross Electric can. Gross Electric was founded by George J. (Joe) Gross in 1910, and is now in its third generation of leadership. What’s the key to the company’s longevity? According to Laurie Gross, president of Gross Electric, “You have to love what you do.” She goes on to say, “Whenever I get overwhelmed, I go out on the showroom floor and spend the day waiting on customers. It reinvigorates me.” This motivation to help customers is at the core of the business. Gross Electric is committed to finding the right lighting and electrical solutions for their customers, whether the
project is residential, commercial, institutional or industrial. “We live and work in Northwest Ohio, just like our customers,” says Gross. “So we want the area to thrive just as much as they do.” In addition to lighting and electrical supplies, the company carries door and cabinet hardware, furniture and home accessories. ition Purchasing a vehicle is more than just buying a product. At Dunn Chevy Buick in Oregon, it’s building a relationship. “Be honest and as good as your word. When you make a promise, keep it.” – that was the philosophy Charles F. Dunn adopted when he opened his first dealership in Curtice in 1909. The company was first called Dunn Motor Sales and the first vehicles sold were Buicks. His philosophy still guides the staff today. There are many reasons to shop at Dunn Chevy Buick, but here are the top five: 1. Experience – The dealership has been family-owned for 109 years. Four generations have dedicated their efforts to providing a positive atmosphere where customers can purchase their vehicles. At Dunn Chevy Buick, it’s not just business – it is family. 2. Selection – Customers will find a wide selection of vehicles, cars, crossovers, SUVs and trucks. It will be hard to walk away without finding just the right vehicle. 3. Trucks – When it comes to trucks, no dealer in Northwest Ohio has a larger inventory than Dunn Chevy Buick. With more than 325 used trucks to choose from, you’re sure to find one
that’s just what you’re looking for. 4: Staff – One of the most important parts of the buying process is the people you deal with. Whether you did extensive research, or are just beginning the process, Dunn Chevy Buick’s staff is there every step of the way, from choosing the right vehicle, to obtaining proper financing, and caring for your vehicle in the months and years ahead. 5: Service – Signing on the dotted line is just the beginning of your relationship at Dunn Chevy Buick. The dealership’s stateof-the-art service department and body shop staffed with experienced technicians are ready to provide service when you need it. They also offer free shuttle service and car washes, rental cars on site and convenient appointments. Customers will find no high-pressure sales tactics, no gimmicks; just honesty, sincerity and a great vehicle at a fair price, with professionals willing to help before and after the sale. Dunn Chevy Buick’s success has been built on repeat business, from customers who have been shopping at Dunn’s for generations. “It’s not a great deal unless it’s a Dunn deal.”
