Triones is selected as the TOP 11 product design of 2013 Channel Cup Fujian(jinjiang) Industrial Design Competition, which is holded by China Industiral Design Association, Taiwan Visual Communication Art Institute and Fujin Quanzhou Government. Light industry includes daily product like umbrella, shoes, bottles, tour tools, etc. I choose the specific target - campers and figured out their worry about being lost. Thus, I designed an anti-lost flashlight for them, whcih combined GPS and projector.

JBL's music identification earphones Chinese market expanding personal project market analysis / user experience / user interface JBL is an American audio electronics company,whose primary products are loudspeakers. They want to extend its market share in China. In this project, they provides us 2 topics. One is to predict the future domestic speakers in the next decades, the other is to focus on "portable" situation. In terms of "portable", earphone is the most suitable carrier to research. The relationship between brand, music, portable device, Chinese environment is worth rethinking. Finally, I choose the vigourous as target, which is the same as JBL's. After researching potential needs, consumption view and personalitiy of them, I designed music identification earphone -- Music Hunter.

care for the aged personal project hunmanistic concern / business thinking By the end of 2013, China will turn into the advanced stage of aging. Total aging population will reach 202 million, aging progress is expected to 14.8%. At the rate of 10 million old men per year, by 2050, there will have been one old man in each three Chinese people. With the increase of aging population, a lot of social problem will emerge, social retirement pressure, pension problem, empty nest, etc. China is facing the problem of "getting old before getting rich". "Care for the aged", this time we take the aged'need into consideration and try our best to present our hunmanistic concern to them.

idea generation team work design hacker / user interface / model making Nowadays, bussinessmen need countless printed paper to arrange, present, discuss and deal with. While usually, in the office, there is only one large printer, and all the staff should print one by one. For someone, he may well go for printering for back and forth. On the other hand, if personal printer put on the table, this problem whill be solved. However, there will be less space of desk to use and much more messy it may become. Thus, our group designed SUB-printer, which is under the desk, it not only can make room for office desk, but also make printing work much easier than before.

As one of the design method, design hacker is widely used in team work. It allows each concept to get developed equally by all the members. In this way, the idea from our minds can get fully exchanged. Here is the following steps: A. Each member comes out with 10 concept. B. With discussion, we choose best 3 from each 10 concept. SUB-under desk printer To this project'demand, we choose one of the three concept to make it detailed. That is SUB under desk printer. We definde its role as a housekeeper of the white collar. After our research of office environment, we think as a housekeeper, it should have following feature:

For ordinary printer, paper will stay in a drawer before they are fed to the printer. So why not just turn the printer into a drawer?

In order to assemble the printer easily, we use a dock to prevent plug from being directly inserted in main body.
After printing, paper comes out here and just stop in your reach.

Frame The frame supports the printer under the desk with two runaway on the both sides.
SIL Status indicator light shows whether sub is running regularly. SUB is combined with the inserted CISS. Thus module CMYK ink cartridges can be replaced easily when they run out.

paper model We first calculated the size of the printer. I drew an expand view first and fold . And following test showed that every dimension was reasonable.

ABS construction I made a 3D model with Rhino and analyzed each board we would go to cut with CNC. Then, we gradually sticked them together with super glue.
painting In order to fit with the office style, which feels cool, rigorous and advanced. We decided to use matte black as main colour, which also can set the lively CMYK colour off to the delicacy.
assemble Frame was made by iron. It was sticked to the table with 3M tape. And our final model SUB can just be supported by it.

cDraw cDraw is a cloud-based background printing mangement system. The reason for "draw", is that SUB likes a drawer stay beside. The action of printing also should be as easy as drawing the paper from a drawer. It just fits with the identity of SUB - an office printing housekeeper.

game design team work system developing / productization With the development of computer game, it becomes a trend that more and more people lock themselves in the room, enslaved to Internet. Due to lack of face-to-face communication, people's social skills are sharply weaken. Board game is one classic way to enhance the relationship between people. In the process of game, players will think, compete, communicate and play joke with each other. In the harmonious atmosphere, game can naturally maximize its role. This time, our group design a chess game with concept of bumper cars. Making regulation and fixing the bugs enhance our system design skills and teach us how to control all the relative elements - player, goal, rule, exciting point and various models.

Cars In turns of board game, we should first take "fun" element into consideration. Except for video game, online game and other game, our group as associate "fun" with movie, TV show and other relative events. Then, we find this Disney movie - Cars, which contains plenty of anthropomorphic cars with respective characters.
bumper car Instead of Formula 1, which seems too professional and speed-focused, we find a more popular and funny image - bumper cars. Do you remember the exciting feeling you get when you intentionally crash a rubber car into another one? We just want to catch this emotional point to create more scream to the board game. 48
chess Chess is a two-player strategy turn game. There are differnt types of chess depending on various culture. How player use their own pieces to sweepy away the enemy determines the winner. The rule of the way the piece go is both a limit and funny point.

game introduction Peng Peng is a multi-players chess game. Each player should cooperate with his partner who at the opposite corner to get the flag on the map and transport it to the campsite. Once the flag enter a camp, the owner of the team will be the winner.

chessboard Field was combined by the 41 square and 40 octagan cells. Cars should move from one side to another. When the car moves to the border of the map, it will cross the border and reach another border(on the other side of the route) Opposite corner have two team's campsites. Middle cell has a flag. The picture on the left is the initial state.
move Each car start from his beginning cell and can move 1 to 3 steps per time. But it can only go along cells nearby. Except function cells, no direction change allowed. Thus, when racer is at square, he defenses but hardly move far. When racer is at octagan, he is active but easy to be attacked.

bump Bump means a car moves to the cell where another car stays. The car which bumps will stop there and the car which is bumped must move 4 steps along the bump direction. If there is the endless loop situation, only this time the map will be closed and the car will turn 90 degree accroding to the principle of total reflection.
chain-bump Chain-bump means there are 2+ bumps happen at a time. Except for the first bumped car, other bumped car should turn 90 degree to the right. The final bumped car move 4 steps.
flag When the car moves to the cell where the flag stays, it will get flag. When the car which has flag bump, chain-bump, bumped or chain-bumped, the flag will be transmitted to the related car. Once the flag passes the campsite, the game is over GOAL

45 degree knife When architecture students make model, they often needs to cut the board in a 45 degree in order to eliminate the gap between two "walls". Normally, they use ruler and knife to do this job. However, it usually fails. The same question worries our fixpartner Li. We start to help him as fixperts. We decide to design a special knife to cut exact 45 degree. Come up with many idea, we finally end up with the knife with a special structure.

The wave Due to the age, Tong ji Siping Campus becomes too old for the modern city. One of features is the messy trasportation system. We want to solve this problem. We had done some essential measure, interview of cyclers and brainstorming for the potential plans. Finally we came up with the concept - the wave. That is to divide the road with phsical shape in order to seperate bicycles from pedestrian. And also the slope and the interactive light give students a sense of fun.

melody chain They're thousands of accidents happen everyday, include e-bikes and pedestrian due to no warning sound. This time, we cooperate with KISD students to make an experiment of sound-making device for e-bike. We get inspiration from music box. After we work out its principle, we combined this concept with chain. With our careful calculation, finally, we make a prototype which can actually makes sound. We call it - melody chain.
