Ft. Motte Oyster Roast and Shrimp Boil 2024

The Famous Ft Motte Oyster Roast (first started in 1953) welcomes 600+ oyster fans each year! Fun, Friends and Fresh Oysters and Shrimp! Just 35 minutes from Columbia. $50 tickets include all you can eat delicious oysters, shrimp boil, corn, hot dogs, cold slaw, homemade desserts and of course sweet tea. The weekend will kick off with the Cocktail Competition on Friday at the Tides in the Pavilion Ballroom from 6-9pm. Who’s ready to do some oyster shucking? How does over 50,000 pounds of oysters sound? The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the world’s largest oyster festival! Loco Adventure Paddle Dash Biathlon

Paddlers will start and finish at the Sands Beach located in Port Royal, SC. The paddle will start in the Beaufort River and track towards Battery Creek and will be about 5 or a little more miles. Upon beaching your boat back at the Sands, the running leg will be approximately 4 miles through the beach, boardwalk, tower, some roads and old railroad trail.
