Winterfest
Winterfest, presented by Bank of America and World Wide Technology is bringing back all the fan favorites, including ice skating, s’mores stations and igloos underneath 100,000 twinkling lights in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. This six-week winter celebration will also showcase exciting events like try hockey free, visits from princesses and superheroes, and a family friendly New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular. 2025 St. Louis Beer Fest

Every year, more than 100 vendors pack Cherokee Street for the Cinco de Mayo Street Festival. The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race GFPBR is one of the longest running hot air balloon races in the country, and one of the only that takes place in a large metropolitan city. The tradition began in 1973 with a handful of hot air balloons and a few spectators. Apple Butter Festival
Attracting more than 100,000 visitors each year, the Apple Butter Festival is the largest event in Kimmswick, Missouri. While participants can enjoy the small-town ambiance, live entertainment and between 500 and 600 food, drink and craft vendors, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, too. On Friday, the Kimmswick Historical Society gathers to peel and prepare the apples. Then, before dawn on Saturday and Sunday, the apples are cooked in a kettle over a wood-burning fire until the fragrant spread is thick enough to seal in jars.
