>> “A good example is the property we’ve pictured here. It’s based in Lincolnshire and the property was first constructed in the 1980s, so not an especially old building, but one which the owners wanted to update and reconfigure to better suit their needs.” “I guess a typical year sees us complete a really major project every couple of months, about six a year, but in between those we also have many more smaller projects like individual rooms. We’ve also become favoured for much larger projects – typically whole houses, either renovations of old properties or designing the interiors of brand new ones –as we can manage the whole job from start to finish and because our budgeting is always accurate to within a very narrow margin.” “We began our working life specialising in bathrooms and then gained commissions on the back of those for kitchens, studies and for built-in furniture in bedrooms and reception rooms. Bathrooms are arguably quite tricky rooms to create, so specialising in them right from the start probably stood us in good stead!” “Along the way we styled our studio to looks as much like a home as possible, not like a showroom. We soon gained a really great reputation for the look and the feel of our studio and we were quite lucky, as we had about 5,000sq ft of space to utilise.” “Eventually our clients wanted to achieve the same look for their own rooms and so we soon started to provide furniture, lighting, accessories and finishing touches to turn a client’s house into a home.” “It took us just a little over three months to finish this property, including building work to reconfigure rooms, new kitchens, six new bathrooms and new reception rooms.” “Because we employ our own tradespeople from cabinet makers to installers to tilers and decorators, we’ve all the skills in house, and we’re better able to coordinate everyone to ensure each part of the job is completed in the right order with absolutely nothing overlooked.” “For the client, that means they’re invested in the project and can make their own decisions, they’re in control, but steered through the process to make it less daunting and less stressful.
