STAMFORD EVENTS RUNNING THROUGHOUT APRIL ENJOY SPRING AT BURGHLEY HOUSE

There’s plenty to enjoy at Burghley House this spring, starting with a fun event for the whole family! l Beastly Boring Burghley from 4th April is a series of fun tours for children with costumed tour guides. l The estate’s South Gardens will also open on 9th and 10th April for the NGS, affording magnificent displays of narcissi and spring bulbs. l Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April sees fresh food and local produce at the first of this year’s Burghley House Fine Food Markets to be held in the Chestnut and Stable Courtyards. l Meanwhile on 17th April, the estate will host its Burghley Easter Egg Hunt in the Sculpture Gardens. n See www.burghley.co.uk.

STAMFORD TUESDAY 5th APRIL EASTER IN ART

A beautifully crafted film explores the Easter story as depicted in art, from the time of the early Christians to the present day. DEEPINGS 27th APRIL - 1st MAY THE 2022 DEEPINGS LITERARY FESTIVAL

GRANTHAM FRIDAY 1stto MONDAY 18th APRIL BELVOIR CASTLE’S EASTER ACTIVITY TRAIL FOR FAMILIES

Journey through Belvoir’s formal gardens, solving Easter activity puzzles along the way. You may even bump into the Easter bunny and his friends as you travel around the colourful trail. Ramble amongst the displays of spring blooms, from daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, primrose and camelias as you explore these historic grounds. Once you have completed the outdoor trail, each child can collect an Easter egg prize at the end of their visit. Then, before you leave, make sure to pay a visit to the charming shopping village, Engine Yard, where you can find a wonderful collection of independent shops, stocking artisan foods, boutique clothing, glamorous homeware, gifts, garden supplies and more.
