reader’s Gallery My name is Christin Grønnslett, I am a 39 year old Norwegian
living with husband and 2 kids. My first contact with scrapbooking was in 2002 after living in the US for a couple of months. It took 7 years of shopping and blog/gallery browsing before I really started to showcase what I had scrapped in a blog; after that I started my blog. Now I can’t live without scrapbooking. So, after the kids are in bed I can’t wait to start scrapping the kids’ cute faces. I started out as a real clean and simple scrapper, I have evolved a little, incorporating inks and mists. I can go as far as calling myself a light mixed media scrapper with a preference to clean colors. Favorite Prima Product: I would have to say the entire Anna Marie Collection is my favorite. It contains most of my favorite colors: pink, aqua, white and yellow.

Halloween is one of the mysterious holidays and it's getting more popular in Russia so the card I made will be presented to one of my friends. It's a special charm card which is supposed to keep my friend free of any harm that day and forever. “ALTERED VASE” Adrienne Ford

“Some of my favorite creations have come from the funniest of places. I spotted this glass bottle on one of our family thrift shopping excursions. It was not pretty at all! My vision for this bottle was to go for a more rustic, natural look; perfect for one of my favorite holidays- Thanksgiving. I wanted to achieve a look that reminded me of home during the holidays. Sitting down to food, fellowship, and laughter around the table. I spent much of my time priming my bottle with Gesso and then using a sea sponge to gain some texture while it was still wet. This allows for some dramatic contrast once I spray it with my beautiful combination of fall toned mists and inks. Finally, I have added some of my favorite Prima embellishments -Prima vines (which I cut in half to maximize exposure) as well as some other Prima flowers. I tucked in some Ingvild Bolme Junkyard Findings to offset the darker tones, and

have finished it off with some burlap trim, fraying the ends a bit.

I wanted a soft vintage feel for this page, while keeping the photo front and center. To draw extra attention to the photo, I offset two of the same. I mimicked my Mama's crinoline with the layers of lace around the page and accented it with beautiful flowers and button embellishments.

We always knew that the Prima ArtVenture was going to be an amazing event. With five super passionate teachers, nine international standard classes, products, prizes, giveaways and a luxury resort setting, it was a scrapbooker's paradise. Combine all of this with 80 enthusiastic New Zealand & Australian scrapbookers and it was sure to be brilliant.

Chalkboard was a big trend during this event. We decorated the table centerpieces, goodie bags, room gifts and other little touches with black, white and pink gorgeous Prima flowers. The highlight of the room was the photo corner set up with subtle vintage touches and an old chest full of Prima blooms.

As the weekend went on, guests enjoyed the photo corner games in which they could keep the blooms they caught (without using hands!). They were also able to take photos in the flower petal patch and each was able to help themselves to petals during the retreat to whatever they needed to perfect their pages.

The classes were a huge success with every type of style covered. Teachers Louise Nelson, Rachel Tucker, Janine Koczwara, Trina McClune & Nic Howard brought everything from mixed media, masking, altered books, layouts and even pocket page scrapbooking to the guests. With 500 spaces in classes filled, inspiration was flowing and many guests went home with new direction in their scrapbooking, not to mention bags overflowing with gorgeous Prima products!

Bringing so many people together for such a special weekend is something that Nic & Lucy from AE Retreats love to do, but it was made super special this time with Prima contributing to the party. Comments and feedback have let us know that it was one of our best weekends yet. It was a result from top classes, stacks of gorgeous products, fun & relaxed teachers and a very supporting crew. Most of all it was the contributions of one of New Zealand’s favorite manufacturers. Thank you Prima!

Louise really wanted to create a layout for this section as she wanted to challenge herself! As a minimalist kind of scrapbooker, she really wanted to see if she would be able to create her basic style of a layout and then take a big step forward and Dress IT UP!

Louise began by creating a patterned background for the photo on plain card stock. She then used a liquid chalk edger over a stencil to create a doily pattern. When the photo was adhered, she added extra splats of black water color paint. These splats were added to coordinate with the photo and the inked doily pattern.

After The photo was framed with a cropped chipboard frame and same mist were also added around the photo to coordinate adhered with staples. Final embellishments were a few leaves, the misted pattern to the original photo and embellishment a flower, a flair button, some cotton thread, and sugar dots. cluster. Hi! Ann-Christin is my name, but most people in the cyberworld know me as Lula. I live in Norway, not far from the capital Oslo, where I work as a kindergarten teacher. I really LOVE scrapping and I hope this is something I will do the rest of my life. I do not have a certain style, but love to try new things. One thing I DO enjoy is the LOVE of bright colors! “A little keepsake to remind you of me” Tanya Batrak

My family and I live in the beautiful city of Kyiv, Ukraine. I have a little daughter who is 4. And she is my greatest source of inspiration. I started scrapbooking in 2009. That winter our sweet daughter was born and I decided to make an album with her pictures. I ended up creating two mini albums with pockets for CDs, to give to my parents and parents-in-law! I like layouts most of all and paper makes up 90% of them. That’s why I like Prima paper. It has huge number of different designs in lots of styles. You know you can use patterned paper in a few ways: you can cut out some printed designs from it such as flowers, leaves, birds, etc., you can make your own pattern with the pieces from different sheets, you can add some stamps and splashes and get quite new look of it.
