“The clients wished for a statement in spatial luxury, a contemporary living space with ethnic accents — a home that would have a traditional spirit and modern expression. The 5bhk home was converted to a 4bhk one, with one bedroom being ‘erased’ to create larger spaces, keeping Vastu in mind. The contemporary-meets-ethnic aesthetic was articulated as a bare, modern shell that would house elements with classic styling such as cabriole legs, Chesterfields, scrolled arms and backs, and stately two-poster beds. Luxury is expressed via a high-end material selection and rich finishes. Unusual natural stones with extraordinary colours and graining, exotic hardwoods and veneers, pure leather, opulent velvets, high-gloss lacquers, silk carpets, and engraved and beveled glass create layered, nuanced and eloquent compositions.”

Spread over a sprawling 10000 square feet, its traditional interiors tie it to the rich cultural history of India, elevating the overall aesthetic value associated with the city.
