KIT for 1.2l TSI engines are precisely matched together. In addition to timing chain, camshaft sprocket, chain tensioner, slide and guide rail, these include all the necessary components for installation. The scope of supply also includes the crankshaft sprocket and the chain additive ‘Chain Protect’ developed together with Liqui Moly for optimum lubrication. This additive reduces running-in wear after chain drive replacement by up to 20 per cent, thus extending the service life of the chain drive.
