READY 4X4 ISUZU
Brisbane Isuzu has been Queensland’s one-stop shop for all things Isuzu for more than 20 years, but its latest creation is world class
Narva spotlights offer both function and form, completing the tough front end
Brisbane Isuzu’s one-stop shop approach sets it apart from other dealers, offering full in-house fabrication and manufacturing for both off-the-shelf Isuzu Truck options as well as custom creations based on unique customer requirements.
The family-owned business has grown tremendously since opening the doors in 1997, now delivering over 1,200 trucks each year out of three locations: Archerfield, Burpengary and Eagle Farm.
Brisbane Isuzu now employs more than 200 staff across its three locations; offering sales, service and parts as well as engineering and fabrication, wrecking and recycling, body manufacturing, finance including operating lease options
and Isuzu Power Solutions (OEM stationary or auxiliary engines).
Brisbane Isuzu also boasts the largest parts holdings in Queensland, supplying the retail and trade sectors as well as operating a remanufacturing facility that offers rebuilds, machining and refurbishing of engines and transmissions.
The many hats Brisbane Isuzu wears allows the business to offer customers the perfect truck, from the initial concept to vehicle delivery and specialised aftersales support network for all maintenance and repairs throughout the vehicle life cycle.
Work meets adventure But what if you also want to take the adventure rig to work all week, then drop the tools and hit the beach come Friday?
The Isuzu NPS 75-155 4x4 Crew starts at $101,400 and for that you’ll get an alloy tray with drop-sides, winch-compatible bull bar, and off-road ready super singles.
Thanks to the under-stressed 5.2-litre engine and heavy-duty build quality, service intervals are every 20,000km, which means more time working and less time waiting.
“The 5.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine is robust, high torque and high power,” says Isuzu Brisbane general manager (Archerfield) Steve Hayward.

capable and very comfortable
“That 5.2-litre is a big plus, the competition usually run a three-litre and a four-litre."
The 4HK1-TCN 5.2-litre engine offers up 114kW and 419Nm, but is the only engine in its class that’s done away with selective catalytic reduction, disel particulate filter and AdBlue. Instead, Isuzu has opted to use a maintenance-free diesel oxidation catalyst, with no particulate filter regenerations and the added benefit of improved exhaust brake performance.
The Isuzu NPS 75-155 4x4 is offered in both manual and AMT, with a standard gross vehicle mass (GVM) of 7,500kg and gross combination mass (GCM) of 11,000kg. It can be driven on a car license, if de-rated, giving buyers the option. Crew-cab variants will comfortably seat seven adults, while still offering significantly more tray length than traditional five-seater dual-cab utes.
Sure, there are ample dual-cab ute options. Invest a little more in your do-it-all vehicle though, and you could have a light-duty truck with more payload, longer service intervals, and loads more grunt.
“People have gone down the path of upgrading GVMs on smaller vehicles and just wearing them out. These trucks have got the GVM, they’re capable and very comfortable,” says Hayward.
Isuzu is the commercial truck and 4x4 specialist, market leaders for more than three decades thanks to reliability and dependability customers can trust.
“We’ve been number one now for 32 years, and Isuzu has built the reputation for being a tough reliable workhorse,” says Hayward.
“For the Isuzu brand in itself, reliability is everything. The quality of the finish on this product sets the Isuzu NPS ahead of anything in that light 4x4 truck market,” he adds.
The 4x4 range of Isuzu Trucks is tried and tested, with severe-duty commercial use forming the backbone of this tough range of go-anywhere trucks.
“We are truck people, so everything we build we build with ruggedness and durability in mind,” says Hayward.
“It’s not a new product; it’s tried and tested through a number of fleet and government applications. From Rural Fire

Brisbane Isuzu’s in-house built NPS 75-155 4x4 Windsor is a fully-kitted high-quality ready-to-go work and adventure truck, with dealer warranty on both the truck and the body. With a long list of inclusions as standard on this build including drivers and passenger suspension seats for comfort, high-quality heavy duty canopy and winch just to name a few.
“The vehicle is supported by us for its three-year factory warranty that can be extended out to five years,” says Brisbane Isuzu general manager (Burpengary) David Windsor.
“The Windsor is designed and manufactured by Brisbane Isuzu and is supported in full throughout the warranty period.”
The Isuzu NPS 75-155 4x4 Windsor is the solution for tradesmen and adventurers who need more payload, a tougher build quality and more space than you can get out of a traditional 4x4 ute.
“This is for the guy who’s out grown his traditional ute and still wants to be able to put the family in it on the weekend and go to the beach, but wants a versatile work truck,” Windsor says.
Given the choice it’s hard to believe adventurers and tradesman alike wouldn’t opt for the tough looks and rugged versatility of the Isuzu NPS 75-155 4x4.
