The wheel deal
TRUCK AND TRAILER COMPONENT COMPANY JOST HAS FORGED A STRONG PARTNERSHIP WITH GOODRIDE TYRES AUSTRALIA TO SUPPLY A RANGE OF ALLOY WHEEL AND TYRE PACKAGES TO AUSTRALIAN TRAILER MANUFACTURERS INCLUDING PUMPA MANUFACTURING AND BULK TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT.
Goodride Tyres Australia is a 100 per cent Australian-owned and operated firm that is equally owned by both company Directors and has been operating for more than 13 years. The company’s core tyre brand is Goodride, which is a brand manufactured by what’s reported to be the largest tyre factory in China and one of the top 10 largest global tyre manufacturers. Joe Limina, Chief Executive Officer of Goodride Tyres Australia, says the company was founded in response to what was perceived as a need for another strong contender in the growing local market. “Having seen Goodride’s success in other global markets, our company Directors saw an opportunity to introduce this brand to the ever-expanding Australian market,” Joe says. “We believe the factory’s extensive range and commitment to product quality and value are exactly what the Australian market is looking for. “A natural progression was to expand our offering to other items such as truck alloy wheels, allowing Goodride to provide a complete package for our trailer manufacturing partners and tyre dealers. Joe mentions that while truck tyres are one of its specialities, Goodride Tyres offers products for all vehicles great and small. “From the smallest passenger car to the largest item of earthmoving equipment, we have the full range of tyres to suit most needs and applications,” he says. “Our truck range covers key market sizes and is complemented by an extensive tread pattern range; our mission is to supply products that perform in the toughest Australian climate.” When asked how the company was introduced to JOST alloy wheels and what features of the product stood out, Joe says, “We were looking for a wheel supplier to complement Goodride’s vision of quality, value, and exceptional service. “The JOST brand is synonymous with providing a comprehensive range of advanced technology transport components in Australia as well as other parts of the world.” As for which trailer manufacturers Goodride
