Winning Cattle…Bred The Bainridge Way!
Welcome Back to Bainridge! Dear Friends and Cattlemen,
It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since we last met in Zanesville for one of the great events of each fall season, the Bainridge Sale. It is, likewise, equally hard to believe that eight years have gone by since Bain Goff first started this annual production sale. I guess “time flies when you’re having fun” and that has surely been the case at Bainridge. Allow me to welcome you back to our eighth edition of this event; it’s going to be a night you won’t want to miss.
For nearly a decade, Bain Goff and the Bainridge Team have been supplying high-quality seedstock to the industry through this event. Over the years many highly-productive and lucrative cattle have surfaced from the Bainridge Sale and our list of repeat customers will speak as to the value of the cattle they have purchased here. While we are very proud of our past accomplishments I can honestly say that there has never been a better Bainridge offering than what we will present this October 17th. Each year we try to do something different to make our cattle offering better than the past. It doesn’t always work, but it sure worked this year. The offering we will present at Bainridge 8, while quite different than those we have presented previously, offers deeper, more diverse, and higher potential cattle than we have ever offered before. I certainly hope you can attend.
Bain Goff is still in “building mode” with his own cattle after the near-dispersal we completed two years ago, and for quite some time the future of this event was in jeopardy. However, Bain’s partners and friends and customers have all joined in to make this offering something truly special. You’ll see many genetics that are familiar to you from past Bainridge sales and we’ll also offer plenty of new options for you to select from. All in all, this is an impressive set of cattle built around the same principles that Bain has always pushed – high-versatility, high-quality cattle – and continues to use in his own program. We can’t thank our new and old partners enough for their continued confidence and friendship. Thank you for your interest in our eighth offering. Feel free to contact any member of the Bainridge Team prior to the auction should you have questions. We’ll have trucks headed in all directions after the sale so please let us know if we can assist you in your quest for improvement. See you in Zanesville, Craig Reiter, Bainridge Marketing Agent and Sale Manager 419.862.0117 – office 419.350.9159 – sale days primetime@primetimeagrimarketing.com

Selling the Buyer’s Choice of The Best At Bainridge! 1A Female
Lot 1A
Bainridge Beauty U800 Calved: January 10, 2008
Sire: DCC New Look Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor 138M (Meyer 734 x Angus)
Due to calve December 11 to Sheriff Taylor – Calf Sex: Heifer Selling a lifetime one-half interest without possession. Choice of Lots 1A-C. A full sister to Jesse Hoobler and Noah Skrinjar’s wildly successful, and nearly unbeatable, Bainridge Beauty U2 that sold as Lot 1C a year ago, this heifer is an amazing specimen that Bain swore he would never sell. You can stack the quality in these 138M and P3 daughters selling here next to any female in the country, literally, and you will not be disappointed. This heifer is especially massive and powerful yet perfectly balanced and feminine from every angle. She has looked this good since she arrived and there is no telling where she will go from here. Her first heifer calf will be 50% Simmental by the popular Frozen Gold product, Sheriff Taylor – a 3C Macho x Who Made Who blend in the ABS Global AI Stud. So good it hurts! BAINRIDGE

Bainridge Beauty U802 Calved: January 16, 2008
Sire: DCC New Look Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor P3 (Meyer 734 x Partisover Angus Donor 550)
Due to calve December 28 to Northern Improvement Selling a lifetime one-half interest without possession. Choice of Lots 1A-C. Bainridge Beauty U802 is absolutely the most powerful and highest potential daughter ever to be produced from the great Throgmartin and Bainridge Donor P3, an especially exciting Meyer 734 daughter that was lost way too soon. At the now-famous Throgmartin Dispersal, the P3 donor was widely regarded as the best daughter of the great Partisover Donor 550 and the best of the first-calf heifers in the herd. Unfortunately, P3 died shortly after coming to Bainridge and before she could produce many embryos. This compelling masterpiece by New Look is certainly her best – and last – work but be sure to see her two sisters that sell here also. There is so much versatility, power, and prepotency in this trio that their high-revenue futures are as certain as anything in the business. All you need to do is get in now and hold on! BAINRIDGE

Sire: BEB Juneau Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor 138M (Meyer 734 x Angus)
Due to calve December 5 to In Dew Time – Calf Sex: Heifer Selling a lifetime one-half interest without possession. Choice of Lots 1A-C. The only Juneau daughter from 138M, this dazzling beauty is one piece of machinery that you really need to see; I’ll guarantee you’ve not seen one quite like her. She is quite different from her sisters at Bainridge but what she gives up in belly she more than makes up for with her striking style, flawless pattern, and overall ideal design. This Lot 1 choice is a tough one, except when you figure that you can’t go wrong. Everyone that owns cows knows the value of females like these!

Bainridge Beauty U803 Calved: January 15, 2008
Sire: DCC New Look Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor 138M (Meyer 734 x Angus)
Lot 1D
Due to calve February 27 to Northern Improvement Selling 100% interest and possession. A full sister to Lot 1A as well as Jesse Hoobler and Noah Skrinjar’s unofficial “Ohio Show Heifer of the Year” for 2008, Bainridge Beauty U2, this solid black heifer is another sight to see at Bainridge 8. Her sister won nearly every time out a year ago including the always tough Ohio Beef Expo and, with her good looks and mass, this heifer could have won plenty herself. The replacement pen at Bainridge is totally empty – everything you want is here – and Beauty U803 is another 138M daughter that Bain said he could never sell if he was going to stay in business. Well, so much for that. She sells in her entirety as a special treat that someone is sure to enjoy for many years to come. These New Look x 138M daughters are so complete and powerful that we doubt you’ll find anything like them for sale this year. See you at the sale! BAINRIDGE

Bainridge Beauty U806 Calved: Fall 2007
Sire: Mossy Oak Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor 138M (Meyer 734 x Angus)
Lot 1E
Due to calve November 28 to SVF-NJC In Dew Time – Calf Sex: Heifer Selling 100% interest and possession. Tested PHAF Maybe the best opportunity you’ll get to own a future, upper-level steer producer this year, Beauty U806 is a very serious piece of machinery by Mossy Oak from the 138M donor. She is the longest fronted and best haired of this amazing set of 138M daughters and she is not the first special one from this combination. Two full sisters, THRG Pure Royalty 325P and THRG Maid of Honor 123P, were features of the Run for the Roses Sale where they sold for just over a $4,800 average. You don’t have to think with this one; just go for the freak. She’ll do the job as well as any you’ll find and she is backed by the genetic certainty of 138M. BAINRIDGE

Sire: Dr Who Dam: Bainridge/THRG Donor 138M (Meyer 734 x Angus)
Sells open Selling 100% interest and possession. The only daughter of 138M produced in 2009 at Bainridge, this high-potential Doctor Who daughter speaks volumes as to the consistency of her incredible dam; everything we get is outstanding and she works with every sire. If you attended our seventh sale, then you remember the exciting full sister to this heifer, Bainridge Beauty U3, that sold to repeat-customer Y-Not Show Cattle, OH, a year ago. Like her sister, this heifer is long on flash and shape with an extra-long front end, great hair, smooth movement, and serious muscle shape. We’ll take one hundred more like this one.

Embryos of Bainridge Donor 138M
Three embryos by Heat Wave
At least one pregnancy is guaranteed when terms are followed – Available sale night
A genetic opportunity no good cowboy can ignore! Embryos from the 138M donor by the great Heat Wave – precious property, indeed. The results of our 138M calf crops by six different AI sires are simply amazing and we know she’ll hit it big with Heat Wave. To date, 17 calves from the 138M donor – that we know of – have sold for an average price in excess of $7,400 with two calves over $21,000 last year alone. When she lived at the former Throgmartin Cattle Company they referred to 138M as “The Emerald Lady”; it’s easy to see what makes her special. Bain said he was done selling embryos from 138M because he needed every one he could get, but we got these embryos from old flush that was purchased by a discriminating customer – get them while you can! Miss 11T sold one-half interest for $18,500 as the featured Lot 1A in our seventh Bainridge Sale to Richard Jenkins, VA, and later claimed her spot in the winner’s circle in Louisville where she was shown by Hannah Winegardner. She is the product of another great flush from 138M. Her full brothers sold as soon as they hit the ground at Bar A Cattle, TX, for $6,800, $5,000, $3,500, and $2,500 and two of them later were winners in TX and MS. We hope we can display 11T sale day but she’ll be very close to calving – she looks amazing and you’ll be glad you got in here. Remember, the first flush of 138M sold for only $3,000.

For Reference Only – Donor Dam of The Right to Flush and Embryos She’s back! The most popular and successful donor to ever work at Shegog Farms, OCC Ann 658H was the top-selling female of our 2007 Bainridge Sale and she has maintained her winning ways for her new owners. A $41,000 producer (and counting) during her three year stay at Shegog Farms, daughters of 658H have been customer favorites including one by Irish Whiskey that sold in Bainridge VI for $7,200 to Wheeler Show Cattle, PA. Her pedigree - 4C6 Ambush x Traveler 6807 – is pure gold and getting harder to come by all the time, and 658H is a truly impressive individual that has become a customer favorite because she passes on her beautiful front end and depth with consistency. The flush and embryo packages selling here offer exceptional profit opportunity; just like the one we sold last year that produced 15 embryos! Check out the best Ann 658H daughter yet at Lot 7 in this catalog!

Terms of the Flush: Buyer will pay 50% of hammer price sale day and is guaranteed to receive no less than 8 transferable embryos by the bull of their choice. Buyer is responsible for all flush and semen expense. No embryos will be exchanged until full settlement has been received. WCC Donor W60 is open and may be flushed immediately after the auction. She has averaged 11 transferable embryos over 2 lifetime flushes.
Another customer favorite, it’s really hard not to love this cow once you see her. She is some of Aftershock’s finest work and her physical gifts are so numerous that it is easy to ignore her stacked pedigree and fabulous early performance. She is so well-balanced and perfectly correct that you might forget that she is the stoutest daughter of the Watson foundation donor, Masterfare Sara 5058; the core of the program’s success. And she is so perfect hipped, powerfully built, and long fronted that you might not remember that her first calf, a daughter by Northern Improvement, sold to S&S Cattle Company, OH for $7,700, or that W60 was herself a multiple show champion during her limited career. It might slip your mind that the flush Drew Wagner, OH purchased a year ago at Bainridge VII produced 12 perfect embryos. You might forget these things, but you shouldn’t. This is quite a cow with quite an easy-to-use pedigree that will deliver considerable success. We’ll be hearing from this one; mark it down. WCC Donor W60 will be on display sale day

AI 4/30 to Majors Money Man – Exposed 4/30-6/15 to Grizz son – Safe-in-calf The four females on this page represent your first shot at owning some of the top young females from one of Ohio’s most respected club calf outfits. This is our first opportunity to work with Landman Farms and we appreciate their commitment of this choice cut of cattle to our eighth sale. This Interstate daughter is going to be a special club calf cow; she just has the look. When you find Who Made Who cattle – she has two shots - that are this good hipped, large boned, and flexible, you need try to own them. When they are this sound, silver, and furry, you just need to back up the trailer and load. A brother to this heifer by Sun Seeker sold well to Tracy Goretska in 2008. Don’t bet against this one! This cow is well-built from the ground up with excellent feet and legs, a superior udder shape, and tremendous substance on a properly sized frame. This mating to Smooth Sailing is an exciting one! The Deepest Cut from ASB…
We are very excited to host a deep cut of females from Alan & Susan Brinker’s herd at ASB Livestock, Frazeysburg, Ohio. The Brinkers have decided to make a dramatic shift in their cattle production scheme - in the near future they will be beginning a contractual relationship with a grass-finished beef company – and they need to make room in their pastures to accommodate this new direction. Their entire cow herd is for sale and will be leaving before spring arrives; so they allowed us the opportunity to select our favorites from their AI-safe cows to kick-off their private treaty dispersal. We encourage you to visit their farm prior to and after our sale to see not only the sale cows but their entire herd. As many past ASB customers know, Alan has always stressed grass-efficiency, calving-ease, maternal ability, and good looks in his cows. If you’ve been to ASB or visited with Alan, then you know that these cows do their work on their own and they always look good doing it. For these reasons we think these cattle make great additions to our eighth sale and we look forward to your appraisal of them. This is the top cut!
