The first calf from a great Wingman daughter, this is a stat-stuffing favorite from the first crop by the high-selling Hoffman High Road, a bull we tried to own in 2021. He is the type of Angus that we love – easy calving, fast growing, impressive to look at and easy to raise – and he has herd-building quality including a data set to crow about. Consider his 13 traits among the breed’s best 25% featuring Top 1% $F, Top 4% YW, Top 10% $B and $C with a Top 15% rank for CED, WW and CEM. He reads and looks like a do-it-all type of herd bull from our lasting Queen family that has given us generations of top cattle including Lot 16 in this lineup.
Happy New Year! I hope it is off to a great start for you and yours. Please forgive me while I brag on these bulls a little. They are great and, while I do not want to curse our good luck, they are off to the best start and looking as good or better through early winter as any crop we have raised. There are some very special cattle in this offering and I am excited to see what you can do with them.
After years of effort, we feel like our breeding plan – THE PROGRAM – is really starting to take off and flourish. Thanks to the work of many and the great support of our customers the last few years have marked considerable expansion of our brand and greater acceptance of our product; this last fall in particular was amazing. Thank you!
It is awesome to see cattle raised here succeed for others. We love it when we sell winning show cattle to kids but we REALLY love it when our seed stock does what we expect it to for breeders. Bulls from this sale have been especially gratifying over the years. I think back to the widespread success we realized from bulls like Uproar, Answer, Bonus
that each gave us – and still give us – strings of premium females to sell each year. And now we move on to new bulls like True North, Merit, Patriot, Warranty, and Crossover. I am so excited for what they have done and what is to come.
We will sell several bulls of their caliber February 4 that is a fact, but what might be more exciting is the depth of quality in this offering. I am sure we will sell lots of positive difference makers through the sale order, many for way less dollars than you think. We don’t sell them that high and we don’t sell that many of them but we don’t care, we just like selling them and watching them work for you.
Thanks so much for your interest in our cattle. Please let us know of any questions or if you would like us to select some bulls for you and have them delivered this spring; we are happy to oblige.
