LOT 1 MIMMS 650

Lot 1 Mimms 650

Calved: Fall 2016 Sire: Solid Gold Dam: Mimms 29 (Tank x Hoo Doo Charolais) Due to calve September 7 to Front & Center – Prob. Calf Sex: Heifer PHA-Free/TH-Carrier At Donors Unlimited we celebrate elite cows and their performance, our 18th Lot 1 female is a tribute to the now-deceased Mimms Donor 29 that provided us and our customers with years and generations of success in all of our sales. She was an amazingly consistent and dynamic producer that amassed more than $400,000 in lifetime sales including the $28,000 second top-seller of our 2021 sale to GVF/WO-3, WV, steers selling as high as $26,000, and multiple daughters, granddaughters, and grandsons always selling with our best including the $30,000-valued top bull of our 2020 Sires Unlimited Sale to L Chachere Cattle, TX. Daughters of Mimms 29 are noted as some of our very best producers, they are customer favorites and top-shelf producers for many. This young cow was kept back to flush and feature and we have extreme confidence in her; she is a great calf raiser that placed more than 100 embryos in our tank from just 5 flushes. She has the wonderful power, look, and balance that this line is known for and all of her full brothers have placed no lower than third at Texas major shows. Maternal sisters include elite cows like Mimms 229A, 229B, 504 and 651. The 29 cow is gone but her impact will live on. Cows like this and the success they create for others will see to it. That’s what it’s all about. Raising our level to raise yours.

SHARE THE FUTURE WITH US! Well nothing is ever perfect – and we’re definitely not there yet –but this Donors Unlimited plan sure works. I mean it’s really a great deal. After 17 years of doing this (actually a couple more when you count our early beginnings) the results are in many times over and the facts are the facts; investments made here generate great stock, winning results, strong profits, priceless memories, and lots of fun – A LOT of the time. Sure, not everything works as planned; but, daggone, a bunch of these cattle do great things for our customers. And many times for way, way less money than you might expect. It really is impressive and a fun thing to be a part of. These guys won’t brag on themselves so I am going to do it for them. I have sold many millions in premium cow sales over nearly 30 years in the business – some of them trendsetting and remarkable – but there are precious few that have the level of accountability and bankable success that DU delivers, and they’re just getting better. This end of the business is so competitive that it mandates that breeders like these keep pushing the limits to raise their levels in order to keep up or advance. The result is better stock and better values for you. They can’t keep them all - they have to SHARE THE FUTURE - and it really works. The results and customer comments tell us so, and that is honestly the best part. THANK YOU so much for your years of friendship, support, and memories. Congratulations to those of you that continue to hit the jackpot with your Donors Unlimited purchases. I know we have some fantastic options for you again this year. Some will have different pedigrees and colors than you might expect as we continue to push it hard, but we are deeper and better in every division. There are some real monsters lurking in this lineup and a load of equallyfantastic options in our genetics auction. If you will pay us the compliment of a comparison I know that in some cases we will almost literally swallow the competition. Like I said, these guys won’t brag so I will. Thank you for studying this catalog. The videos will be up ahead of the sale and we offer online bidding and delivery, but it sure is better if you come to Hereford because there is no substitute for the real thing. We will be happy to see you, feed you, and make you smile a time or two. We work hard to handle as many of the details in the offering as we can and time has shown us this that this attention to detail pays off for us and our customers. The little things make the difference and sometimes we get the stars to line up just right and then BOOM, history. It seems, however, that when we stack the best genetics and combine them with the efforts of great folks that we tilt the odds in all of our favor. See what you think. Enjoy the spring. Join us in Hereford.

LOT 120A Three embryos by Oso Rojo LOT 120B Three embryos by Red Elephant

» A Share the Future Sale graduate and about as impressive of a red cow as you will find, this purchase proved herself with the arrival of her first embryo crop in Hereford. She placed 5 sons in the 2022 Mimms Sale where they combined to average $9,780 with a top of $19,500 on one by Red Elephant. » This dark-red gal has some serious “Wow” factor and she gets a lot of close inspection from visitors. She struts when she walks and the other cows get jealous. She is immense in terms of width and total volume monster backed with a neck like a Marine’s haircut high and tight. » Her TH-Free status lends itself to some exciting mating options and we have particularly high hopes for these. She is proven to deliver the kind. The Bird family showed a Milkman son from her that was third in a tough class at Houston and we are loading up on embryos from this cow for more of the big rewards.
