PHA-FREE/TH-FREE

Sire: Who Da Man Dam: Mimms 52R (Heat Wave x Cunia x Angus)

Due to calve September 4 to Red State – Prob. Calf Sex: Bull

EMBRYOS OF MIMMS 352 Lot 1A: Three embryos by Here I Am Lot 1B: Three embryos by Here I Am Lot 1C: Three embryos by Getcha Some Lot 1D: Bull pregnancy by Here I Am Due to calve 8/01 Recipient tag 454

Our 17th female lineup features some amazing opportunities and this “proven donor” section is as good and plentiful as we have ever offered. This Hereford elite has been a customer favorite since she entered production and she still has so much to give. In fact, she flushes so well that now we can share. She is the dam of several top prospects so far including the $14,250 steer by Monopoly that Steve Bonham, OK, purchased in 2019 and an excellent selection of heifer calves in 2020. She flushes very well and touts one of the most sought-after and recognizable pedigrees in the show calf game. Her dam was a popular Mimms donor as well and her gorgeous daughter is double clean with that knockout size and presence that makes everyone stop and stare! MIMMS CATTLE

LOT 2 SHIRLEY/MIMMS 1514 FEMALE

CALVED: SPRING 2015

PHA-CARRIER/TH-FREE

Sire: Irish Whiskey Dam: Carney Man x 6807 Angus Due to calve September 24 to Unfinished Business – Prob. Calf Sex: Heifer

EMBRYOS OF SHIRLEY/MIMMS 1514 Lot 2A: Three embryos by Here I Am Lot 2B: Three embryos by Monopoly

We wanted to strengthen our cow lineup for this special event so we closed the gate on a pen of donors coming out of flush and bred them all back last fall…whatever stuck was in the sale. That decision is going to hurt a little, especially with awesome, crowd favorites like this painted brute that is a favorite of many. She has been a great producer since entering flush and her embryos have been some of the most popular we have sold the past few years. Her eggs sell so fast that we only had one steer calf this past crop - he brought $6,600 in the 2021 Main Event Sale - but we have enough embryos to build on that one after she leaves. We will miss her; when it comes to functional power, real mass, and great looks in black and white. You will find very few like the 1514 cow.

Sire: Monopoly Dam: Thorne’s Scarlet 24 (Heat Seeker x Witchdoctor x Meyer 734) Due to calve May 24 to In God We Trust An awesome piece of club calf stock and one of five huge opportunities including 3 proven donors and 2 bred heifers - from the late, great Thorne’s Scarlet 24, the dam of 4 different Texas major breed champion steers and the overall Reserve Grand at Houston in 2015. This grass whale is all clean but double wide and double thick with hair everywhere and enough room to do whatever you want. She has produced a string of steer calves selling in the $7,500-$18,000 range and most recently had a pair of sons that made the 2021 Houston premium sale from the Simmental and Charolais classes. She flushes very well and is bred to deliver a valuable new opportunity shortly after the auction.

All were fantastic calves and have been top performers as cows. This red/white paint is a flush mate to a Ft. Worth Champion Shorthorn Steer and a maternal sister to the 2015 Houston Reserve Grand Steer. She has been a favorite since birth and, even though she got a bump on her jaw three years ago, she is still one of the most impressive Shorthorn cows you will find. Welcome to The Share the Future Sale! If you raise show calves, then we’ve got some things to do together. If you raise show calves then you know the challenges and rewards involved in doing so; how hard it is to make a great one, get it cared for, and get it across. Not everyone shares your vision nor understands your plight. The team at Donors Unlimited does. These guys share the same vision and fight the same fights. They’ve been down those same roads and, many times, come out with the prize on the other end – at the toughest contests, again and again. They want to share their experiences and understanding with you. It’s a challenging course and you’ll likely need a guide. These guys have been raising great stock awhile now. Many of them are

innovators and trend setters within the industry. Several of their bulls, cows, and banner winners are among the most memorable and highly regarded in the game; their pedigrees are certainly influential. Heck, Dr. Mimms was a huge part of the first embryo auction that ever was, 20 years ago this past February. And, well now… Experience, like practice, counts a lot. You will benefit from the experiences, the lessons, the successes and the failures of the DU Team when you do business here. The knowledge of these breeders shows in the cattle selling. Sure, they want to sell you some stock for good prices; but they already know that if you do not

succeed with them, then you will not return. So what’s the point? If you raise show calves, and you’ve not been to Hereford, Texas – even just to compare – then what are you really doing? These guys have taken raising show calves to a whole new level. They don’t take advantage of loopholes, set traps, or make excuses; they just make their stock better and let the chips fall where they may. At Donors Unlimited, we sell the stuff that makes the stuff that wins the stuff. It’s just that simple. Enjoy the spring and please let us know if we can assist you in any way, large or small. We love sharing the future. The DU Team // donorsunlimited.com

More of the blood that pays – and this time with an old school top side – from the heart of the Hale program, this well-marked heifer is super wide and stout. She is a maternal sister to a quartet of top-selling steers by Kalija this spring and she definitely will raise some stout ones herself.

A maternal sister to a former Ft. Worth Champion Hereford Steer from Hale Cattle, this neatly-marked heifer is young but very nice. She has a crisp, clean pattern with great hair and THF status that makes her even easier to use.

Calf Sex: Heifer Great property from one of the greatest cows to ever work in Hereford, Texas, this is one of the few daughters for sale from Mimms Donor 10. She is predictably good looking, sleek, big boned, and very powerful; full of potential. Older sisters include a string of young Mimms donors like the 701 cow whose first embryo steer calf brought $17,500 this spring, and Mimms 704 whose first calf was Champion Middleweight Red at Houston this spring, plus other sisters like the donor that Hale & Day, Meadow, TX, purchased in our 2018 sale before she produced a $16,750 steer calf for them this spring. Multiple full and half sibs to this heifer have been top sellers in our bull and female sales and genetics from her dam are especially limited. Dr. Mimms is keeping full and maternal sisters to this heifer – his only keepers from this crop – and we sold a stout trio a year ago to Hale, Schroeder, and Carter for a $6,200 average.
