Give your lambs a fast start with Hunter Nutrition feeds! Manufacturer of High Performance Feeding Programs for Livestock, Horses, and Show Animals
18 SHOW LAMB feed of choice for competitive show lambs
Our most popular show lamb feed is high in barley and contains bypass protein. 18 Show Lamb is great for building muscle and developing the firm touch demanded by the show ring.
17% SHOW LAMB Use 17% Show Lamb when a lower protein ration is desired. This is similar to our proven 18 Show Lamb in terms of trace minerals, vitamins, stress preventing ingredients, bypass protein and probiotic/prebiotic levels. The key difference is the lower protein content and cottonseed hulls.
TOPLINE Pelleted show topdress
Topline improves muscle tone, adds bloom, enhances animal health, and reduces time off feed. Contains Amaferm®, Actigen®, bloom ingredients, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, yeast culture and rumen buffers.
Both 18 Show Lamb and 17% contain viable prebiotics and probiotics including Actigen® and Lacto-Sac. These additives improve digestion, feed utilization, and disease resistance.

OUR FEEDS...
18 SHOW LAMB is a feed with a great track record for producing lambs that stay on feed, are healthy, and do well in the show ring. This formulation is high in barley and ingredients which aid in promoting a firm finish.
digestion, improves feed utilization, and maintains normal rumen pH. Regular use of Show Pro can aid in maintaining muscle tone, improved hair coat, add bloom, and keeps animals fresh and healthy and on feed.
SHOW CALF 4000 is an intermediate fiber and energy texturized feed, perfectly suited for Heifers and Steers in many show calf feeding situations.
SHOW LAMB 2000 is our higher protein, fiber, and barley texturized feed for show lambs. Use Show Lamb 2000 for lambs needing less energy, and less corn— while maintaining muscle building protein and important vitamin and mineral levels. Show Lamb 2000 is often used as the second stage in show lamb feeding program. SHOW LAMB 2000 is best used to control rate of gain and fat cover on lambs, while maintaining muscling. The formulation is different than 18 Show Lamb #1. Show Lamb 2000 is a lower calorie, lower energy, higher fiber feed. Feed about 3 lbs./ day with fresh water and a small amount of hay. When holding weight on show lambs, you can topdress 4 oz. of ‘TOPLINE’ and 2 oz. of SHOW PRO per day.
SHOW CALF 5000 is higher in energy and lower in fiber than Show Calf 4000. Use Show Calf 5000 when calves need very fast gains and extra cover. TOPLINE helps maintain the ‘tops’ of animals that are being worked and/or having weight held for a show. Topline also contains ingredients which aid in stimulating appetite, improving feed utilization, keeping animals fresh and healthy, and maintaining normal rumen pH. SHOW PRO GOLD is a soy oil based, flavored liquid, feed supplement. Use as a source of energy, to reduce dust in feeds, improve feed conversion, and palatability. SHOW PIG 18-120 is a nutritionally superior formula which puts on muscle and the correct finish on pigs. 18% protein and 1.20% lysine. SHOW PRO TOPDRESS is our mineral based topdress. Show Pro aids in fiber
17% SHOW LAMB is a 17% protein, single stage show feed for club lambs. 17% Show Lamb is made with cracked corn, oats, barley, cottonseed hulls, pelleted supplement and liquid molasses. FILL PELLET is a pelleted show animal supplement that expands and retains water in the animal’s stomach, which is especially helpful in keeping a full appearance. Fill Pellet also contains ingredients which aid in stimulating appetite, improving feed utilization, improving bloom, keeping animals fresh, healthy, on feed and maintaining normal rumen pH.
We can ship feed anywhere.

deeper. She strikes me as an easier doing female, who long term, could prove to be a lower input cow. But 2 certainly grabs my attention from the profile. She’s a long, feminine fronted female that comes long and level down her top, quite honestly she’s the more attractive female from the side. I’m just more critical of her rib shape. She is flatter in her forerib, and tighter in her heart. I’ll leave her a close third. Still, there’s a quality call in the bottom pair and she beats 4. She is easily nicer balanced and more correct in the angle to her shoulder, simply put, I think she’s the more functional option. Yes, 4 is big ribbed, deep bodied and easy fleshing, this just can’t make up for the fact that the plain profiling heifer is too straight and open in her shoulder and round out of her hip. For me, the poorest structured female stays 4th.
I like the Simmental Heifers, 3-1-2-4. It’s easy to start with the look and build of 3, and I’ll use her over 1 in the top pair. 3 not only has the most maternal and attractive look from the side, but she is also the biggest ribbed and most dimensional female in class. Most importantly, I think she’s the best in her skeletal build. As an individual I like a lot of things about the blaze face 1 heifer. She strikes me as practical female and I specifically like her shape of rib, but compared to my class winner she’s a bit plainer on the profile and gives up too much in performance and dimension. I like her a logical 2nd. For me, it gets competitive in the middle pair, but I prefer the cowy look of 1 over 2. 1 is more genuine in her rib shape as she has more spring to her upper fore and mid rib and carries this shape 78
