Great job, Kassi! Dear Dennis & Sandra, Enclosed are some pictures of Indigo at Nationals and county fair. Moms’ camera wasn’t working the greatest so they are kind of fuzzy. She has since gotten that taken care of so hopefully we’ll get some good ones at state fair. Indigo is looking great. I absolutely love her and she is by far the best heifer I’ve ever had the opportunity to show. Her attitude is wonderful and has been since day one. I wish they all acted and behaved like her. I can’t thank you enough and tell you enough how much I truly appreciate having this opportunity. She looked really nice at both county fair and Jr. Nationals. She is really coming on and gets better daily. Having such an awesome heifer with great hair made the contests much easier. Thank you so, so, so much. Thank you, Kassi Rice

Like most of the Maverick progeny, she is more conservative in her ame score with increased width of body and more muscle blended with a very low BW EPD. A pasture whale by Missing Link, this unregistered, purebred Angus heifer is a stout favorite in this deep bred heifer offering. She is the first calf om a leading daughter of our consistent Angus herd sire, Connealy Formation 60C, and her second dam produced the female that Dave Sitzman, IA, purchased here a year ago. Her dam has too much white on her belly to allow her progeny to be recorded but everything else is right with this one. She’ll be a gorgeous mature cow that will appreciate with time and earn her keep along the way. Safe to Settler! Lot 113

GVC Genetics at Work! Dennis,

Dennis,

I thought I would drop you a note regarding our 2010 female purchases. The cows are doing very well and the Lot 45 bred heifer we purchased for $4,000 just produced a purebred I-80 steer that we sold for $4,000 to Texas.

I wanted to let you know that we have had great success with the females we purchased on last year’s female sale. All of the females calved out easily and did a great job of raising their calves. We feel that a few of the calves out of the cows purchased last year more than paid for their mothers already including a new herd sire prospect and a top female. We are very excited about their genetic potential and are looking forward to utilizing them within our herd.

Thanks again, Brent Sieck Sieck Club Calves Martell, NE

Here is a little bit more information on the cows that we purchased: The 577R Nasa daughter had a very attractive Suh heifer that is one of the best we’ve had this year. The

194L Jethro daughter had a Closing Bell bull in May that we are very excited about and will likely be kept for our new herd sire. The W08 Angus heifer had a Final Answer bull calf that is nice and has sparked the interest of visitors this summer. Finally, 643S Forecast had a First Impression heifer that is very attractive, and will be kept in our replacement pen. Good luck with your preparations for your sale and I look forward to hopefully seeing you in November. Thanks again, Colton Buus B2U Stock Lennox, SD

Thank you to our great customers for their hard work and for staying in touch. These are just two of the nice notes/comments we have received. Congratulations on your successes!
