Welcome to the... First off, we would like to say thank you to everyone who has purchased cattle from us in the past. We cannot say enough how grateful we are for your support and the encouragement it gives us to continue to breed better cattle. This first-ever “home” offering is one we are really excited about. Things are really beginning to click with some of the new genetics we have used and we think you will really appreciate the results. The bulls are a quality set with more depth than ever, and many have commented that this is our best-ever offering of bred heifers. We are excited about them and we look forward to your evaluation on February 7. These bulls are really impressive and they are headlined by the largest set of “Lut” sons we’ve ever been able to offer. There is a great group of big, stout, performance bulls plus a solid set of calving-ease bulls. Each night we spend time in the barn after chores to discuss how the bulls are developing and we always select a different bull because the quality runs deep and these bulls are so uniform. Stop by to see them on the farm or look for a few in Denver; we think you’ll find several that will make your outfit more profitable. These bred heifers really have us excited! We have been building around sires like Moneymaker, Journey, Lux, Lut and I-80 to put together a uniform and deep lineup of females. These are ones we would like to keep because they are out of our top-performing cow families and we know what to expect from them. Together, they make an impressive group in each breed division and they are a unique kind that will expand upon any foundation you already have established. There are more dollars to be gained in these future bred heifers than ever before. We’ve been in this business for nearly 50 years and we’ve never seen opportunities and rewards like those we are seeing today. Join us on the home farm February 7th and we will show you some bulls and females that will help you get the most out of your operation. We look forward to making new connections and strengthening our old ones. Thank you for taking the time to look over the catalog. If you any further questions feel free to give us a call or stop by anytime.
We hope to see you February 7!
Bob, Jim and Chad
NOTE: Horsley Brothers will aid our eastern buyers by providing trucking to the Green Oak Sale Facility in New Paris, Ohio, one weekend after the auction.

Expect tremendous performance and consistency from this half-blood Simmental son of our great 088 cow that always delivers quality. This bull is a fast-growing, big ribbed, good looking brother to a daughter of HB Alternative that we sold to Hunt Farms, OH, that recently produced the Reserve Grand Champion MaineTainer Heifer of the 2014 NAILE. His dam also produced a strong son of W/C American Dream that sold in our 2013 Eastern Xposure to Saeys Farms, IL, for $5,600. A stout bull from a very predictable cow!
