MF/HL Donor 8952 Calved: Fall 2008

Sire: BULLICIOUS (by Alias) Dam: OCC 276L (Jake’s Pride x OCC Anchor x OCC Anchor) Sells open – Last flush 11/21/13

It’s a special season and a special time to be a cowman for sure. And we know we’ve got so much more to prove and that we’ve got to offer some very special ones to get your attention this year so, after much discussion, we’ve decided to lead off our fifth sale with the same incredible female that headlined our first sale. Donor 8952 (a.k.a. The Delicious Bullicious) OCC 276L was the featured Lot 1 in our 2010 sale where our great friends Ross and Chad Hirschfield, NE, selected one-half interest to further strengthen their program and now, after super production including the best heifer calf in our 2011 crop and the $30,000 top heifer of our 2013 crop plus several strong flushes, she is back again in the lead spot she deserves.

You run out of words to describe a bovine beast like this one. She might be the most physically powerful of all of our donors and she is so much fun to work because she never misses a beat and always looks great – never out of sync. If you’ve seen her then you know what we’re describing here. We liked her so much as a calf that we went to Dustin Glover, OK, and purchased her dam and are working here in ET as well. No matter how you like them, there is no denying that Donor 8952 is one impressive beef female and it is only a matter of time before she writes her page in the history books, if she hasn’t already. We’ve sorted some very special cattle into this event in an effort to get your interest and we’re already regretting the decisions to turn many of them loose. We may never have another like this one and others you will find within this fifth offering. But, what the heck, the auction is just before Christmas; ‘tis the season. Enjoy! DONOR 8952 IS OWNED WITH HIRSCHFIELD LIVESTOCK, NE

An amazing piece of club calf machinery that has just been waiting for her time to shine, if you do nothing else this fall you’ve got to come to McLemore Farms to see the quality and trendsetting style in this special donor choice lot. Like Lot 3, this rare beast offers next-generation type power and intrigue with amazing elements of hoof, bone, hair, and muscle. She has always been a favorite since she was a calf and we’ve let her prove herself the right way, with one good calf at a time. Now, she is ready to be explored and it will be quite a journey. Silver Bells and then some!

Happy Holidays from McLemore Farms! Thank you for your years of trust and support. We hope to see you Dec. 22 on the ranch! Please travel safely and let us know if we can assist in any way. -8-

Way out there and way good, here is the other great option in this special donor choice sale attraction. This ridiculously good Hollywood daughter is the proven dam of several top calves for us including what many consider to be our best steer prospect from the fall of 2013. She was our selection from Adam Pryor’s P1 Genetics Sale and is a product of one of his most trusted cows. She elevates the game with the most amazing feet/hoof/leg set/leg hair combination we’ve worked plus next-level body shape, frame score, and totally flexible power. We are going to lose one very special female on this choice lot but you are going to gain so much…these two are something else!

A great Hog that will run with the best of the brand, this is a great profit and improvement option from the top of our fall herd. This young cow is the next donor from our now-famous crop of 2009-model Hog daughters that are already making waves for our customers and she will give them a run for their money, especially with her stout bull calf at-side. She is really powerful and good looking with the signature MF Hog loin, hip, quarter shape plus the perfect size and a double-clean pedigree to go any way you like.

Sire: LEROY BROWN (Heat Wave x Full Charge x Payback) Dam: MF 32 (Draft Pick x AN) Sells open with a 11/20 heifer by MF 8 Ball

It’s worth the trip just to study this loud-colored cash machine! We didn’t picture her because she was close to calving but she is one you need to see if you like yours a little stouter, a little freakier, and a little more out on the edge. This red and white paint is way out there with crazy shag, massive foot shape, and maybe the best bone and muscle combination in the fall herd. She calved a little late for us so we decided to sell her even though we know we shouldn’t. It won’t be long until this one raises something that causes a ruckus – it might be the one on her side now!

A beautiful, registered Angus daughter of Lutton, this is quite a pair! The cow is another one that was calving at photo time so we missed her but we’ll bet you will not be able to ignore her on sale day. She is striking in the pasture with her incredible balance and angular design plus one of the sweetest necks her sire ever gave us. She has a ton of milk from a proper udder and her current heifer calf will match her for good looks and breeding value. Love’ em and load ‘em!

A proven McLemore donor and a maternal sister to the 2008 Illinois State Fair Open Show Grand Champion Steer, this golden show piece gave us a herd bull by Carpe Diem with her very first calf. He is the same color as his mother, still looks great, and is working so well so we elevated this Martin Dream Girl to donor status where she quickly gave us 24 good embryos in two flushes. She has a tested pedigree and the intense shag, bone, and neck combination that makes for special results. This colorful combination with MAB should be even better and we will have embryo full sibs this spring and summer. She is young, proven, and exciting!
