The Good Ole Days
My friends, these are The Good Ole Days. If you ever wondered about them and when they happened in the past, I have news for you: we are living them, right now. In years to come we will look back on this time, right now, and realize how great it was. If you do not believe that I am sorry, you are wrong. Or you were born after 2017. Cattle prices are at all-time highs and starting to boil, just facts. Other ag commodities are either thriving, at historical highs or just coming off them and grain is about to jump again. The S&P 500 has reached all-time peaks in recent months and is poised for a massive, compensatory leap. Inflation is falling but you can still make nice money on your cash. The Real Price of gas is cheap though oil and gas farmers are still thriving in this clime. Nice paying jobs are everywhere. Think I am wrong? Do the math, look around, and think again. If you think this place is struggling, then you are missing something material. It’s just facts, not hearsay.
This cow market is something, for pleasure craft and beef builders. Have you ever seen so many high ones? Some may be a little foggy, sure, but many are dang sure right on the money, and they come on weekdays and weekends, for working cowmen and show folk alike. In the real world, you can trade an old cow for a healthy downpayment on a bred heifer and, in many cases, you can weigh up your old bulls for the same price of shiny new ones. These are facts. If you have cattle but are not participating in these Good Ole Days, I am sorry. If you are, then you know. And, if you are wise, you are working right now on ways to raise your inventory and your quality so that you can reap even greater benefits in the years to come. Our sales are experiencing records, and we are not alone but one thing is for sure, you cannot sell them if you do not have them. Happy hunting, my friends, and enjoy your work for these are, most definitely, The Good Ole Days. Buy. Sell. Be Happy.
