It’s fair time. The time of year when country and city meet and, in our business, when breeders and young people alike get to show the products of their toil. I remember my first fair and my first projects, they made a huge difference for me as I know they are doing for others right now. Emotions of all kinds run high at fair time so when I saw this post the other day I could not hesitate to reach out to my friend and customer Quinton Keeran, of London, Ohio, who summed up some thoughts, feelings, and memories quite nicely on his Instagram page like so: May God bless the empty halters. May God bless the rolling tears. May God bless the kids and families that are saying goodbye to a year of hard work and experiences. Another year
has come and gone. Another project completed. May God bless the youngsters learning how to win, how to lose, how to set goals, how to be respectful, how to handle adversity, how to overcome obstacles, how to care for another living being, and how to grow through being present in today’s world.
